I absolutely adore you guys! I was watching Martin on RetroRestore years ago, and only about 3 months ago discovered this channel. You see all these channels with fancy intros, and fancy graphic overlays throughout. You guys don't use this, and you absolutely don't need to. The chemistry between you both is clear, and its so wholesome to see a couple that have been together so long who still clearly love each other very much. Take empty plastic bottles and fill up from water fountains airside. Search “water at airports” for very good site which lists where water fountains are at airports. All part of an initiative to reduce use of plastics.

The North of the island is a lot more humid and they get more cloud, the south is mostly blue skies. It’s a beautiful island to visit.

Don't be deceived by the cloud. Worst sunburn I ever had was in Puerto. Sunbathing by the pool, I didn't cream up, that was a big mistake. Enjoy your trip though, nice place for a holiday.

Somewhere you might want to visit near the cruise port, Parque Maritimo Cesar Manrique , it’s a large gentle water park, with gardens and overlooking the ocean, you can find something to eat there as well 🙏🏻

Its always less Sunny North of the Island . Two micro climates north and south . A lot of these Spanish hotels use that old school type furnishing . Visit the famous Dragon Tree while you are scooting around the Island . :)

I've only been to Tenerife once about 15 years ago and stayed in Puerto del a Cruz. Lovely for walks along the front with loads of little shops. I had a day out at Lora Park and also up to Mount Teide. Both worth going to. Another day on a coach trip all round the island. Wasn't impressed with the coach journey from airport to hotel though.☹ Anyway, I hope you have a lovely holiday and that you get your room sorted.

We had a room like that once we went out and brought a cheap bleach and put it down the toilet sink and bath,sorted it for a couple of days,but it started to come back,in the end we got another room. THAT SMELLED THE SAME 🤭 the third room was fine, have a lovely holiday both of you.

the northern airport called los rodeos handles very few international flights,and is susceptible to bad weather more regular,it was also the site of the largest air disaster in history in 1977 when two diverted jumbo jets collided in the fog ...... worth a two hour bus ride i feel cheers

I don’t have a sense of smell following surgery a few years back, I will take the room at a discount! Look out for the beautiful bird of paradise flowers they have there. When I went to peurto I remember visiting the volcano ( which made me travel sick!) and the banana plantation also a big Lido which I enjoyed. Looking forward to all your holiday vlogs.

Woundered if you were going to be the only ones on the flight, Hehre , pleased you were not, we stayed a few time in puerto , but it’s changed they were just devoting the area when we last went., I could feel that feeling when the plane went fast down the runway, that’s the bit I don’t like hehe. Have a lovely holiday. I remember when food was included in your price and your mixer drinks. Thanks for sharing, be careful when in the sun as it can appear cloudy but you will burn , I have experienced it. The black sand is also really hot. Mind you we have always been in the summer months.
