i thought it was easily on of the best films i have seen for a long, long, long, long time. a filmmaker that understands the mystery and joy of reading. words and script. plot and pace. dialogue and narrative. acting and directing. craft. value. past. present. hope and color in a noisy, harsh world. a breath of air. a beautiful film.

Horrible movie, but a really good trailer. Bait and switch. Some disgusting scenes, and half the movie was terribly boring. Don't waste your time!

And that you did not like or enjoy it does not make IT horrible, perhaps it is you who are merely a horrible viewer. Or perhaps "horrible" is merely tragic shorthand which carries an awful lot of unnecessary and disorienting baggage. My four companions and I loved this movie immensely, which of course is not to say that this movie was "wonderful". We were however filled to full with wonder watching it.
