Also, premember epilogue, when Eva's monologue states that The Boss wanted to be remembered by Snake not as a soldier, but as a woman - that means they known each other from that side also.

C PT Oh shit, ur right. His real name is John. According to the MGS lore, big boss met the boss in 1950, and then became her apprentice. Right after that John served in the Korean war. So another idea would be playing as John or the boss in Korea. Since the both of them created CQC, it would be awesome if you could kinda create CQC skills and develop them in a unique way. You know, like a skill tree branch or something

Looking at Big Boss and Sigint's dialogue in this game really highlights how idealistic and full of hope they are for the future, even with them knowing where and how the world is screwed up. The fact that these two would extensively contribute to the mess we see throughout the series, as well as the ultimate fates for both men, really highlights how the road to hell is paved with good intentions. And the utter tragedy of the story.
