MGS series the best ever i grew up with this series its a part of my life!I dont mean to quote or anything but i cold say this game shaped me into what i am today without it i would be a moron. Thumbs up if u think the same thing about urself.

In MGS4, Ocelot was known as Liquid Ocelot. Although, I hated calling him Liquid cause it was just Ocelot thinking he was Liquid because of his nanomachines.

@WindBeastps3 Oh, please. There's a BUNCH of underrated games that deserved nominations and GOTY awards that year. Super Smash Bros Brawl, Sonic Unleashed, The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon and Crash Mind Over Mutant (only nominated, though). The last 2 are very obscure compared to MGS and Sonic the Hedgehog, but they were class titles all the same. 2008 was a year with an enormous roster of epic games. Some recognized, some not.

Metal Gear Solid Series has The Best story line in video game history, hands down. you can not compare any other game's plot with Metal Gear Solid's its just impossible. many have came close but the best is always MGS

MGS4 is for fans only. Yeah I said it - it's a niche game that will only get complaints from non-fans. But that's exactly it - All the people who love it are fans to begin with (myself included) so no harm no foul. Also, I think Peace Walker was the best (sorry, but Heavens Divide just sold it to me... and the control and sneaking was spotless - unlike MPO)

Yeah I tried to go into ranked matchmaking for people around my level, i waited 20 minutes and never got a game :( i'm forced to play with all these high level guys who play the game every game who are dead serious about it, kinda ruined online for me but like i said singleplayer is still amazing.

I dunno I dont like online mode that much, I only just got the game and im rank 0 and everyone is like experts at the game o.o its intimidating, although I still get the odd kills sometimes :S. Singleplayer is amazing though.
