What happens when you kidnap enemy soldiers with the balloons? Did they just become friends with big boss and start working for him?

They'll go to the brig and have a "friendly" conversation with Ocelot, who will eventually convince them that it's worthwhile to be friends with the boss rather than be his enemies. Though for story reasons it makes a lot of sense that the process is pretty quick

Not sure if you found a the answer to your question, but everyone knows who The Boss is, and any soilder would work for him in a heartbeat but they all think your dead so in Ocelot's words they wont believe you if you tell them you're The Boss, so when you send them to motherbase they confirm The Boss isn't dead and they should work for papa boss

Even though this was a sequel, this version of the game desperately needed another sequel and follow up. This game was unfinished and was suppose to end with fighting Liquid again and getting Sahelanthropus back.

The game is finished according to Kojima himself. The only cut content was liquid mission which is infuriating. I believe the game closed the gap between mg1 and mg 2 and did its purpose if there is a next metal gear game, it should be a remake for that combines both mg 1 and mg 2 story.

​@@onma07ksaWell, chronologically there's still an 11 year gap between this game and MG1, we could have seen much more. Like the creation of both Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land. I think a MGS6 could have both Bis Bosses as protagonists, and also show us a bit of a young Solid Snake and Grey Fox. Although I would never want a metal gear without Kojima, unless it's just a remake

He didnt. You literally make your own "sniper rifle" via the gunsmith. So, taking an assault rifle, giving it a longer barrel, 308 rounds, small capacity mag, better stock, long range scope etc etc and have it as a hip weapon. and do the opposite for the sniper rifles themselves, making it a back weapon. It's still an assault rifle, it's just customized to perform as a sniper rifle. I didnt get a good look at what he did in the video, because i dont really care enough to check, but this is how you get a "sniper on HIP and rifle to BACK.

@@trimorth5996 to be fair mgsv's russian voice acting is one of, if not only one, examples of good russian voicing by foreigners. You can hear a conversation between Soviet Soldiers sometimes where they discuss petroleum and where it comes from. The soldiers don't believe that oil comes from long dead plants which have been reduced into petroleum over time and pressure. Most people outside of the former Soviet Union don't know that schools there once taught that Oil was a renewable resource. It's neat detail
