Before watching this video, I tried extracting him with fulton, never figuring out how to stop the kid from breaking the balloons. When finally worked was when I called in a chopper to extract while he was stun, but he recovered and tried to shoot it down. However, the was a fuel tank between him and the chopper, and the resevoir just so happened to be behind him. :3

Just don't try any of these on the ps3 version. It'll piss you off. I don't think ps3 is technologically advanced enough to deal with these methods. At least mine ain't anyway.

Reading your comments i think i choice the hardest way for beat him. I just used c4 for the water case and call the chopper, then he wake up and follow close to the second water case. When he was down for the second time, only me and God know how much i walk for go into chopper

I've just come across your video (+2 years). Great work video !! I like the very first version though. One additional note: If you keep running around hiding from him, after 10 minutes it starts raining and that's permanently knocks out fireman. You can call in rain with weather modification as well, but I think that restricts your rank to A. if all tasks are performed, you can achieve S rank even run even running around for ten minutes.

I first really struggled at this boss, but for me the risky way worked. I baited him close to the water and shot a rocket into the water making it burst upward an hit him. The short stun time was enough to jump into the helicopter

This was pretty good. But yeah, funny story about my experience with the Man on Fire, I pretty much ran for my life to the cave, but it collapsed, then I tried to fight him, but I had no squirt gun, but I did find out about those water tanks in the warehouse and mainly used those, but like a dumb ass I was shooting him while he was down, and I did attempt the Fulton extraction on him, but Psycho Mantis destroyed it and even though I shot at him a lot, I thought Mantis was untouchable or something so I stopped. Eventually, I launched a missile in his face and he counter attacked and I almost died, but as Kaz says, thank Mother Nature, because rain came down and saved my ass. It was a good boss, if I play the game a again, I’ll try to use some of these methods, I think my favorite idea is your about to die, Man on Fire is in front of you and is in front of the cliff, you run to a Jeep and run him over while screaming your war cry, and right before the Jeep and Man on Fire falls, you jump out of the Jeep and let it fall.

i always used rain or a fully upgraded water pistol. takes forever, but he dies or gets stunned at leeast, then i fulton him. i think you can stunlock him into the reservoir since it pushes him back... but i'm not sure.
