MGSVPP: Mission 48 Extreme Code Talker - Eliminating The Skulls Made Easy

The easy way for all tadks is playing this mission twice. 1 only for rank s and other for all tasks. For all tasks use invible camo device (with battery) and brennan with silencer, its a very easy way to kill the skulls. Use this invisible camo device and a grenadier to easy and fast clear the path to the helicopter after rescue code talker. Tip: leave code talker on the house and kill all enemy and extract the armored vehicle, after that return to house and take code talker to the helicopter without any enemy on that way. Ps:i dont speak english, so sorry for my bad write

My approach is the following: you need zorn (smoke) or smoke gren. than the sniper brennan (used it with silencer) and lots of Noctocyanin which makes animals/humans visible for about 20 sec or so. just take one Noctocyanin, engulf yourself in smoke and then sniper through the smoke and aim for the marked skulls. repeat that. tipp: you can shot them twice. just aim right after your first shot. the skulls take about 2-3 sec to get up again and can be shot again. took me about 10-15 min to beat them this way. but for an s rank just go by the waterfall and ignore them completetly. it takes way to long to defeat them it its not necessary for an s rank

The most fun part about mgsv is not just being open world but having all different kinds of strategies to beat the game. You can start by selecting your weapons, vehicles, traps (c4,mines,decoy). There’s even an air support if you needed them. With that said I also beat this skulls with planting C4 alone and detonating them.

I realized another way to cheese the cheese of this fight: I let Quiet shoot them and then I send for DD. When he arrives I simply summon Quiet again. She will have full life each time you do this. I take my chip shots as I can and Quiet does the heavy lifting. Rinse, lather, repeat until they're dead. Hope this helps.

Holy Necro but I don't care. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS. I was stuck at doing this mission for hours and then I started to look around for other ways to do it since my way sucked. (Thought I could use my normal mode plan to just bring a tank and shoot the shit out of them. But nope.) This was the only way that I tried that even now still works in 2023 and only took my one retry to get it done. You are a gosh damn champ.

it seems you really studied this mission. my aiming kinda sucks so i'm going to stick it out with -luring them over to my cover position ith decoys/etc. -cqc against their machete attack -pump bullets into them from a stun LMG with a large magazine while they're pulling the machete out of their face

Magloader tank is the way to go here because the Skulls' sniper shots can't damage it. But the grenades they throw can, so make sure to shoot-n-scoot.

I am planning to use the Grade 7 Serval for this one paired with Pentazemin to do 3 successive shots before they have a chance to change position in tandem with Quiet with the sinful butterfly.

It's been over an year since I uploaded the vid. If I remember correctly, I tested and played that map few times until I figured out that the AI is not that sophisticated and they (sniper squad) are using the same pattern accordingly to your position. So while reloading back to checkpoint I systematically began to trace the pattern. I believe I ran the mission 10-15 times(?). Edit: in total, I think I have total of 280 hours played.

I just got a mag loader and physics-janked my way through the jungle. Soon as I was spotted I random fire down near them with machine gun and they move positions.

Why not Brennan's anti-material version Serval 7 (also just lvl 5)? Against the mist skulls in "Phantom Limbs" it's a one-hit-wonder. Can you get parasites from those "killed" camo-skulls? Edit: Tried the Serval AMR-7 on them: one shot and also they're history. Brought Quiet with her Brannon: two hits and they're done, too.

This aggressive way is definitely the way to go. Sniper wars against the parasites on extreme is just nonsense; Quiet gets one-shotted and D-Dog can't help at that distance. Using that first narrow ridge to your advantage is key to using D-Dog, plus you'll have him for infiltrating the inside of the mansion. Thank you very much for the idea; can finally put this bullshit mission to bed.

I got this s class without killing them. Just run through the right wall, there’s a crack up there that you can climb, then go behind the mansion and done. Probably around 7mins with an S class.

Sniper Quiet showing these bitches how it's done! Anyways, all I can say to those struggling is that the key is patience. The skulls will often change position if they don't see you and when one changes position from being shot upon, nearby skulls does the same to confuse you. Stick to cover and wait for the laser to reveal itself. Track it back to them. A good way to make use of this is to let Quiet be your spotter. Send her to the highest vantage point and let her point them out, so that you can follow her laser to them. It's possible to get the first skull down before she can move by shooting her first, then tell Quiet to take aim, shoot her again, then again as she gets up. Quiet will finish her off. But this will only work once, and they will take reaction shots against Quiet and almost always force her to move position. Try to avoid using her to shoot them, her role is of a spotter this time. When down to the last skull, don't get impatient. Take your time and let Quiet help you find her. Btw, two bro tips. One, hold down your aim button with a sniper rifle to crawl much more accurately. Two, the snipers detection time depends on if they have seen anything suspicious. If you get seen, get into cover and then get seen again then they will spot you immediately. Basically, they spot you faster if you're in the same place where they spotted suspicious movement. But if you keep this in mind then you have a short grace period to duck down. You can use this to let them aim at you thus revealing their position. Like I said, patience. The guy in this video have done this a lot and is making it look easy but on the way to being this good yourself, these are all great things to keep in mind.

It's Extreme Difficulty and in Daytime (which makes it even more harder). When you start the video you see [Extreme] Code Talker - indicating the mission difficulty. On every run the Skull Snipers behave in the similar way - positioning themselves accordingly to your position. You can find the whole walkthrough in words from the video description :)

What I figured is... u keep distance from hot zone ( too forward) .... They very easy to spot where they aiming cause they use lazer. Keep to the river just lil back. Then only one will come to you .. and she will just jump infront of you lil distance... so be quick with your shot.... cause if you miss by a second she will just leap to your just back to slash you. But still its whole 1 or 2 sec u got to target her. Not so impossible if u dont lose your cool in nervousness. Because u know she has to leap to your back to hit you. Front side u gotta gun u c and she just bring slasher. :) So if u still miss the shot just be sure to quickly turn back and execute CQC sequence. Big boss sure can kick their butts out if he is facing right direction to punch. np. And if nothing works be sure to doz run. :) She wont hotly pursue u for another hit... and big boss can take one hit easily. And try again. ;)

What become problem for me ... taking down gunship chopper and tank while still fighting other foot soldiers. Got KIA few times. Sneaking away from the fight scene is not my type. :) Unless I put the whole enemy down I putted the old man back there before came out to fight. He's pretty safe there till then. I mean usually its not that difficult to take down tank but either shots was going miss or not effecting them as usual... more thier wasnt a good angle to take shot at them when u fighting other shield duffers as well. Even if a tree leave comes between your shot ... your missile launchers shot not gonna hit tank. Game developers grace I suppose. I keep grenade launcher handy for foot duffers that come too close and missile launcher for tank and chopper.... Honey bee launcher was kinda proving ineffective. So I used conventional. It hads more damage and penetration power. I good shot at chopper and it will run away damaged. Wont even fight to finish. :) Tank u have to take out fully... cause its not gonna buzz even if damaged. Will take 2 good shots or u can plant C4 at its back by sneaking around if u can... They effective there cause of fuel tanks. Front side I dont think C4 can do much damage but 2 good charges at back can blow it up wholly. And of course, try it after u finished with everything else. I took down tanks this C4 way in that Honey Bee episode... Thats how I came to know C4 aint that effective at front side of tank. I think its rear part that makes the tank go down... thats why u need to hit it from side or back... Wudnt been KIA that many times if paid attention to this myself. ;)

Whaat? ....Who said u need to play this game in stupid stealth way they purpose. I think it'll demand lots of real stealth on your part to take out whole enemy. Just make sure u had a place to to supply drop your ammo handy near by and cover from those big guns as well ... I think back side of fort is very safe. It has roof over your head... open sky front ... just one facing opening in front and and grenade launcher can easily blast any shield wielders that try to come along. And it have a shielded corner too and its natural in your path when u come out. Plus u can try take down chopper from both open ends but I think safest and sure way is from front door opening of first floor from the room itself... From under that... whatever it is at back seems to be problematic for taking down any one of big guns even if it seems easy enough. U'll have problem... tank wud be shielded enough to for clear shot and 1 shot from it gonna take u down ,.. all the time it was that stupid tank's 1 shot that made me KIA martyr. Most time while I tried smart to take double shot at it in succession and got blasted away. :) Actually think what I figured it out quite late though that shots actually not hitting it when they seem they do. It kinda remains unhurt miraculously. Actually, I shot it down 50 times. But then I realize it was those obstructions seems like... even a leaf can shield it. So I shot it from up there backside near that disc antenna. And two shots make it die fully. & chopper ... only if u can aim that good and quick or else u can try from room. I was successful from there. :) But back side is good for untill u take down all foot soldiers... it wud easy and clean from there... And then u can move places to deal with those big guns.

Firstly I was thinking u ppls kinda talking Extreme Code Talker... so I thought may be its some other related episode later on... but its that skull sniper one. But sure I am still at start of episode 30.... Some Skull thing.. But suddenly became interested in seeing if anybody beaten those skulls in CQC style. I mean they get hurt punched by him... I noticed it in episode 29 that I just finished but not so quick with keys to turn him around so quickly any direction... But lot of experts here ... I mean they very good with there keys... seen that. So wondering if somebody really had punched them out. :) I think I will need a game controller too for that maybe .. ppl here are very good with their keys I saw... or maybe me just bad with keys. Am playing it on just on my laptop ... that too through touchpad & its keypad only no mouse here ... LOL
