I love this piece, thank you for writing it. About 10 years ago I`ve played it at Dodenherdenking on the 4th of May in Dalfsen, The Netherlands in the Hervormde Kerk. We`ve played it then in an arrangemtn of our own for mandolin, guitar and accordeon.

Oh Maria! This is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard! The guitar is incredibly sweet and dark and the cello adds a haunting dimension. In 1982 I was just entering college (and some of out utube friends were not even born) but at that time this would have been the music that defined how I was - and perhaps still am.
