I _cannot believe_ how good they were live! I've been a big Pale Fountains fan since this year (1983) when I found the "Palm of My Hand" 7" single at Tower Records and bought it simply because I was intrigued by the name of the band, the title, and the cover art. I found "Pacific Street" there a month or so later, and pretty much wore it out on my turntable. What a treasure to find this video of the band in their heyday! Thank you so much for posting it!

Pacific Street is a spectacular debut album... no fillers just gorgeous, uplifting and melodic gems.

I was a PF fan club member, I loved their music, haircuts, and retro styling! I was sent quite a bit of paraphernalia back in those days. Amongst other things, I had a nice collection of publicity photographs of the band. Regrettably, I sold the lot to a collector from Japan about 10 years ago.

Aparte de sus dos LP’s oficiales, tienen muchos singles y maxis con temas desperdigados, la mayoría caras B. Para hacerse con ellos, lo mejor es pillar dos ediciones en cd: 1) Longshot from your Love, editado por Marina Records, y 2) la edición japonesa de su primer trabajo, con muchísimos extras.
