Just installed this in my 04 GT, I cannot recommend this shifter enough. Feels incredibly solid, helps you bang through the gears, and its actually pretty easy of an install.

For anyone watching this: the shifter is GREAT. However, if you use the RTV like they show in the video, it is a PITA to remove if you ever have to take the shifter off again.

after installing mine i have a whine/ slight grind in 5th gear only now. love the short throw of the shifter but i don’t understand why it’s causing a whine/slight grind in 5th gear only. going to try to install the oem one and see if that fixes it. if so i’m sending this shifter back.

Hi, I have tremec tko 600 instead of 4 bolts on shifter base I have 6 and 2 of them are underneath the frame, is there any easy way to reach them? It's a 97 cobra

you would most likely have to lower the trans crossmember to get to them and maybe access from underneath with a ratcheting box wrench maybe.
