Good work! Did this upgrade a couple of years ago (wish I had done it earlier), best thing you can do to improve your shifting. Keep an eye on the shift linkage bolt, despite the blue loctite, mine found a way to back out (and while I was driving). Other thing I would recommend is swapping out the transmission fluid with some BG Syncroshift II.

@@BMW323ciDriver lol that wasnt the stock shifter i replaced, that was the barton shifter. When your stock it's not that bad but when you get boosted/ more power and you will notice it more at high rpms. The stock stock shifter is flimsy as hell, go see my old video when I went from stock to the barton

I'm looking for either a Barton or MGW for 16gt, cause I be experience 3rd grind/lockout at times, why switch from Barton to MGW, thank you sir???

Thought I covered why, but had lock out to but I had the barton shoet throw shifter, I recommend getting the barton hybrid shift or get the mgw race spec shifter because you switch everything not just the shifter and the little 2 peace bracket. Shifter, yes it better than the barton that I had, less vibration noise, eventually I still need to upgrade my cluch because it still stock

@@DIS50GO I'm in the same situation I got the barton short shifter (not the hybrid) and the blowfish racing bracket. The safety loop in the blowfish it actually hitting my driveshaft over bumps so I'm going MGW steeda said install will be $275
