Normal is by far mu favorite playstyle, and thank god Rathian is one of the few level 8 Gunlances we got (I hope we can upgrade more of them to 8 with updates). Great run, you showed the power of full burst and Reverse Blast.

I never even thought of using Blast Dash at close range, thats way faster than rise and slam to get to burst

Just hold the opposite direction you wanna go then use reverse blast dash switch skill

You have to hit the attack button before you land while holding the direction you want to be facing, otherwise you'll attack facing the direction you launched yourself.

New to gunlance . I just wanted to know rather or not the person in this video is using reverse blast dash as a parry counter ? (Edit) I now know that he’s using reverse blast dash for its i frames

Guys i’m really new at GL but i m in love with it ! I will be glad if someone could explain how can he « cancel » his abilities ? I mean, i is doing the Dash (2 wirebugs) so fast !

Wire bug whisperer for reduced cooldown speeds for wirebugs. Press same inputs for blast dash while mid air. Each blast dash will use 1 of your ammo charges. So you can only reactivate the skill if you have ammo to spare.

Actually curious, how is thian GL better than rakna or even daymio GL in this match up? Does the poison counter the other flaws?

Daimyo or rakna is probably better I just liked the sharpness + raw on Ian and figured poison out damages blast on this guy

@@SamGrass looking at everything rakna is better 99% sure and daimyo should be really close, but yeah a really great run nonetheless. I was just curious in case I didn't get something about the weapons or the fight (I've looking at magna HZV and resistances + the differences in the weapons for the past 20min xDD) I gotta try this more aggro playstyle with no guards
