@@Im_Wesley I stopped playing MH last year but at that point I had played through 4U, Gen and Iceborne and had a total of 12k HH hunts solo and online. Also I made the latest HH general build recommendation album for Iceborne on the MHGH discord

Was looking for a MH4U Hunting Horn speedrun about a week ago, didn't find anything. (must learn from the pros) Luckily we got Canta to save the day with Master's Test runs, yippee :D

+nessilver HH is a good/powerful weapon, people just dont like using it until they try it out after gaijin hunter's/arekkz gaming's tutorial, after that, it's just an amazing weapon. you can speed run with any weapon, even bow

Simple Answer:It's just not your weapon. Use another weapon if you dont like the huntinig horn.

Guter Run, Canta. Sehe selten richtig gute HH Spieler, obwohl die Waffenart eigentlich richtig stark ist.^^

Erstens das und zweitens ist das HH richtig eingesetzt im Multiplayer extrem overpowered. Solo geb ich dir recht, da sind GS, IG, SnS und CB wohl die stärksten Waffen in 4u.

I saw u just used the atk up and the self boost if this is right i could use my relic horn and may have better skills then uve and i mayve would be able to do masters test

Have you tried with molten HH? Similar stats but is blast and have HG in the songs. Sadly needs a different set.

So, are the recital attacks any good for DPS in speedruns? Playing it here is a bad idea in general, since it'd nullify the smoke bomb, but I'm very curious.

+Megaron Nah. While they do a little more damage than the regular attacks, it hardly justifies staying locked in animation for that long just for dps' sake.

Late answer, but Horn Maestro stacks with Finale, thus a longer duration likely meant to save time.
