A brilliant interview! Mhairi Black speaks in plain understandable language, with refreshing truth . She tells people how antiquainted and sinister the UK Houses of Parliament is,----more clearly than I ever realised. No other MP has lifted the lid, (as far I know,) on the place and the dubious nature of many of the country`s MPs that are in there. It sounds truly horrific, and should be converted to a museum to the mis-Governing history of this country. In these times, we need to be using a modern building with up-to-date style voting on bills and get rid of the 1st-past-the-post system voting for the MPs.

"Scotland being an after thought in this place." They're not the only ones - the north of England, Northern Ireland, Wales, are all 'after thoughts'. Who actually explained what affect a 'leave' vote could have on NI? And who cared when voting 'leave'? Love listening to Mhairi Black.

Very few. Coming from an Irish man when our former Taoiseach Enda Kenny visited the UK to tell the Irish issue and dimension to all of this, he was disgracefully ridiculed as a scaremongerer by your MPs and ofc Vote Leave. Indeed it was perfect pickings for the "Project Fear" spinners. www.irishtimes.com/news/politics/british-mp-criticises-enda-kenny-s-offensive-brexit-comments-1.2530108 Since 2015, everyone on the island of Ireland (excpet ofc the DUP and UPP) well warned of this scenario, that brexit was completely incompatible with the GFA, and those who were spearheading the Leave campaign were deliberately silent on NI. I think the only British parties and MPs to speak of such were the SNP, Greens and some experienced Labour figures. And Jeremy Corbyn above all, he was early to talk about this in 2015 with Sinn Féin.

I like that woman, having had my own taste at politics from like 3rd row. I can absolutely verify a lot of what she stated, especially about the mentality that runs through all parties across. If she knew what goes on in Brussels, she would want to leave the EU too. Because all she dislikes about Westminster, exception on the specifics of dimensions inside Westminster, all that is part of Brussels too same ways of doing things. If I was a Scottish citizen, I’d vote for her 😊.

We never hear about her now (February 2022). She was once the great white hope of SNP supporters. She is still an MP.

There is definitely a lot more to see of her, even here on KZbin. Just search for her name and you can also use the filters to narrow the search parameters. Æ
