Feather is one of my favorites, so it’s always nice to see alternate lists. The problem seems to be too many good options. It’s also refreshing to think that Dockside may not HAVE TO be forced in every red deck!

I agree xD cantrips fitting cantrips are all over magics history. Helps make her a versatile and budget friendly deck.

@@MadHatterYT With my table, I’ve found commander damage too reliable or too quick for one opponent, so I try to make the game more interesting by winning with ping damage using Aria of Flame and the ping creatures. I need to add an Aertherflux Res to make that a bit more reasonable. More options equals more fun!

@@Justjandy I could see that. I think ping effects would totally make sense to build around. I'm a pretty big fan of voltron decks so that fit my playstyle a bit more. For ping decks I'd also recommend Veyran. That commander is a little too much like solitaire for me, but a super effective commander for the type of effects you're talking about.

The copies that zada makes doesn't trigger any cast trigger, so when you mention for exemple the storm-kiln treasure generation compo with zada casting one spell, it actually doesn't work, you only generate one with the original card casted.

You're right it doesn't cast, but the Storm-Kiln example works because it sees copies being made as well. That's the magecraft ability which works with either the original cast or any copies.

when you are in tokens, use skullclamp and draw cards like there is no tomorrow. Also Showdown of the Skalds is just great. Speaking of, Fighter class quickly turned into one of my favourite cards in feather, pushing steelshapers gift out of the deck. And oh my, angelfire ignition is just op here. But these came out after your video. Would like to see an update. I personally play Balefire Liege in my feather. not optimum, but nice and fun:D

Feather + Zada Hedron Grinder + MirrorwingDragon + Aria of Flame. Cast any instant on Zada/Mirrorwing, then kill them both, because Aria of Flame will proceed to turn into an infinite hydrogen bomb capable of killing *all* players as the instant bounces back and forth between Zada and Mirrorwing, stacking verse counters and dealing exponential damage to everything but lands, artifacts and enchantments. Or swap out Aria of Flame for Monastery Mentor, for an infinite army of infinite power/toughness prowess monks. Feather is my favorite commander, hands down.

Does that combo work? I don't believe its infinite right? I hate to be a debbie downer but the copies zada and mirrorwing makes only trigger things like Magecraft that sees copies. Copies aren't cast triggers so they shouldn't ping-pong like that. :/ She is a kick ass commander though and is incredibly fun to play!

@@bugtastic6631 Yea Zada, Mirrorwing, and Aria all reference casting not copying in their triggers. Copying spells aren't cast triggers unless it says so in the card. Some examples are Magar of the Magic Strings and Isochron Scepter (its been errata to say cast the copy). I doubled checked in a judge chat from a discord I'm in.

@@MadHatterYT Just got around to looking at the rules, and apparently, this ruling was changed July of 2022, to say copied spells aren't cast. So I was right... about a year ago lol.

normally I don't keep budget in mind because its subjective to the viewer. So I just suggest w/e fits and let you all decide what works best for you. I'm guessing the list uses a bunch of SLD versions of cards or something to get even that high tho lol, feather is one of the most budget friendly commanders out there.
