Just to be clear: This video is NOT meant to be a criticism of any fellow Creators. And I don't think that Shironature blaming Knightmare Frame for having too complex builds is thought through. After all, you can't blame the No1 Min-Maxer in the Community for using late game gear. This video simply wants to supply you with the easy to access Steel Path builds that apparently many of you wish for So let's keep the discussion about that😉

About the critique: KF is completely focused on making endgame content, on getting to level cap with as many outlandish builds as possible. Of course his builds are ridiculously complex, because his fanbase is people who are searching for some stupidity and fun in Warframe endgame. If you want builds as efficient and effective as possible, please refer to GazTTV, he usually makes builds for farming and to get shit done. Blacky here is a beginner focused channel, which is definitely something we definitely needed, since as nice and welcoming as the community is imho the game is insanely exhausting and time consuming to properly get into. So yeah, good to see this vid, Blacky, tyvm.

A lot of content creators do try to suggest replacements, talk through choices and say when certain things are 'overkill'. I personally don't watch Knightmareframe's stuff for a myriad of reasons, but I feel singling him and his builds out is disingenuous. He's an exception, not the rule.

I agree in a sense as most of the builds I find across all have helmiths, maxed arcanes, primed mods, crystals, etc., so they're a bit baity for newer players as most of them don't really come online until you have most of those things in place. I'd like to see more of a tiered approach from the build makers with better transparency on what the minimum specs are for being reasonably playable and then delving deeper into min max. It'd also be helpful for more "focus on getting these items first" than just showing your full setup. A lot of the items in these builds can cost a ton of plat or highly intensive grind so knowing what's a required item vs nice to have would be helpful.

First of all - totally agree. Current content creators create vids that show off crazy builds that require a crazy amount of resources and guess what ... it requires to have an account with a crazy amount of hours behind it. And to be honest ... If I had this kinda account - I wouldn't care about their videos because I already know everything they are showing us. So... who are they creating them for? Not us - regular casual players. Also... recently a LOT of old players came back into WF after cross save got introduced. And I (like other ppl) am kinda lost where do we begin since it's been almost 6 years since I had an opportunity to play this game. They need to start showing 2 versions of builds then ... builds for casual players that are reasonably easy to achieve and builds for try-hards who put 3k+ hours into the game and never took a break.
@dogma3210 ай бұрын
The worst part about the later game content is that noone at that point in the game should even need those videos. Being able to construct your own builds is something 99% of players will learn by the time they have enough plat to get a max rank Energize. It very much feels like bait for new players at some points, trying to farm views and interactions even with the knowledge they will not be able to complete the build before they forget the video even exists. Examples being creators like Knightmare Frame who, while having noted his builds are for level cap content, makes next to no effort to ensure new players do not try and mimic him. He knows new players flock to his videos because of the big numbers, and makes no effort to provide the necessary context on how viable the build is for anything BUT level cap. Even just some context on these videos on what they are and arent good at would work wonders.

The worst part is, all of these builds include incredibly rare and near-unobtainable mods on top of having several formas and arcanes. I love warframe, I really do. I'm especially excited to keep playing after I just got my age-old console account back on my PC, as many other people just have with cross save. But here I am, grinding to endgame builds, meanwhile I'm still actively doing older quests that are required for the new content. Can't blame the folks who just bought a necramech instead of trying to farm that junk. My damage felt so iffy when back in the day my soma prime was able to shred, now it struggles to take down some lvl 50 world enemies.
@cwaldacwaldovic4572 Жыл бұрын
The only thing that stops me from buying the necramech is my pride in not buying anything else in the game (meaning railjack, helmith, etc.). But the temptation is real. Unfortunately word of mouth & personaly trial and error were the only way i really settled on that lol, youtube really didn't help me out much. Which is as much an algorithm issue as it is a content creators issue, the "mid game" phase isn't exactly a popular topic to cover.

What a lot of Veterans forget is the struggle of a new player there are so many things locked behind artificial daily timers (or 3 day timers) the criticism of the video you referenced was most likely in relation to that and not "budget" builds a lot of things you NEED are locked behind syndicate/reputation which is limited daily especially if you are new there are so many blueprints locked behind not only rank up for reputation but also cost reputation to purchase. Long story short as a semi new player resources arent the issue for me what is the issue is that even if i can play 16 hours a day it doesnt matter because the timers hard stop me from progressing not the resources.

I understand where you’re coming from. But this is a video about doing steel path. This isn’t really for “new” players. You want something to do while your warframe is cooking in the foundry tho? Go after prime parts using the relic system. Even if you don’t manage to build full sets, you can always trade with barrow on the weekend to get better mods. Why not collect and build all the star chart frames while you’re at it? There’s a lot to do while your foundry is cooking
@tigiexe4 ай бұрын
All the syndicate mods you will ever need can be traded, with the exception of things like the helminth segment. Even if there is things you need that are locked behind a daily limit, its always good to split your goals into other areas and do a little bit of everything, and trust me there is no way you can fit all of that into one day of playing

@dogma328 ай бұрын
First step is not to look at your build, but to practice survivability through being mobile. Enemies literally lower their weapon accuracy the faster the player moves. Then, once you are confident in mobility, build your abilities to their strengths. Wanna build Wisp for good motes? Build strength. Wanna build a Zephyr that can bunch up a room of enemies? Build range. So on. Then look at your weapons and make sure they are built right. For that, you need to remember the categories of damage multipliers. Base damage (Serration, Hornet Strike) Faction Damage (Bane, Smite) Elemental damage (Toxin, Heat, Cold, Electricity) Multishot Crit chance and damage. You need to be investing in each of these EQUALLY. Do not go all in on base damage or elemental, cos otherwise you will get less damage than if you invest equally. Also dont forget to take advantage of status effects like bleed and Viral, as they can increase your damage drastically.

Unlocking Steel Path doesn't mean you can beat it-it's not THAT hard, but to beat it you have to know what you're doing.

I was getting them set up with 2.5 multi, 70% crit, fat doughy numbers, but something still felt a bit off. I watched the vid about rigging your numbers and focusing on the effect of status instead of the dmg type and matching it to enemies. Feels good man. The problem is needing like 5 loadouts on one gun because there are so many enemies, and usually more than one type in a tile set. If you are running heat/viral, or corrosive/heat or whatever and you are focusing on the effects and not the dmg bonuses its easier to build your entire loadout around a theme and less stressful, and less likely, that you wind up on a map with the 'wrong' weapons. Ive been having a great time these last two days. Going all the way up to the edge of steelpath, and finally able to ready myself for it.

Keep in mind that the base incarnon guns (Phenmor, Laetum and Felarx) all have an evolution giving them a 50% chance for 2000% damage on non crits. That ups your numbers even more :))

Hi, Inaros main here. As someone who has 1st hand experience on using this frame from early to late game set-ups, I have to set expectations that Inaros with Non primed mods alone may not handle steel path beyond earth. I have taxied many friends to steel path(when it was still allowed). Some who tried the Inaros method as well, did poorly even with umbra mods. My two cents for this, if I were to recommend non- primed mods for newbies. A value of 800 armor and up along with adaptation is needed to clear survivals or other horde clearing missions. As well as some form of Passive healing mechanism, relying on Inaros's skill for healing is very bad. My recommendation for a cheap build would be getting the Umbra mods maxed out at least vitality and fiber, having intensity unranked from simaris is also preferred, as well as the carapace mods from Deimos at the least 2 of them to reach the 800-900 armor value, if you can't get a adaptation(Though you'd unlock arbitrations way before steel path) you can try Shock absorbers but you might want to go beyond 900 armor to compensate. For healing Inaros, the cheapest option I can recommend is a Life Stike heavy Attack build for your melee. A even better healing mechanic would be subsuming Sevagoth to the Helminth to get gloom on Inaros along with the rage or hunter adrenalin mod would set you to conquer most of steel path , IMHO worth the investment in grinding. Other healing methods of course invovle Arcanes, Though Arcane grace at least 2-3 rank would suffice. A cheaper alternative would be Arcane victory which healing is trigger by a head shot kill, not as reliable but as Inaros you'd get plenty of opportunities to proc it as you won't go down immediately with 800-900 armor, even melee headshot kills trigger it so you can invest in a melee weapon that hits high or does a strike downwards. Overall I am sorry if some of these seem hard to find, Steel path isn't really a newbie friendly thing. It is expected that by the time you get to steel path your gear could effortlessly melt Sortie level Opponents. I hope my recommendations would help you better understand the art of HP tanking.
@Amrehlu Жыл бұрын
Corrosive Projection, Gladiator Finesse + Resolve + Aegis, Adaptation, Hunter Adrenaline, Vitality, Steel Fiber. You have a free slot for whatever you want and an Exilus for whatever you want. You can also use literally any arcanes you want, but Trickery is good for turning invisible here or there randomly. Finally Subsume Gloom onto him. Obviously you should also be using Tennokai at this point, you're a lunatic if you aren't. If you want use a primer secondary to help you melee damage out, but just holding melee down is enough. He won't get you through defense missions or the strange missions like defect, but he will let you just fall asleep at your keyboard for survival and allow you to do most everything else effortlessly, just walking around with hundreds of bullets hitting him while you just RP walk through the level not fighting back. That's all. Just put those on, put a good melee on and then hold the melee button and you win until around enemy level 250-300 on Steel Path, at that point you might need to play the game. Just Pocket Sand stuff and you still do increased melee damage to them and they don't fight back. You also should have scarab Armor active but it isn't super needed. If you're ever in trouble grab a boy with 2 and suck'em to heal and be immune to damage and/or begin spamming finishers on blind enemies.

I can absolutly recommend Xoris. It shredds EVERYTHING with extremly little investment. And its a quest weapon! While I use a (somewhat expensive) arcane on it (Melee Influence) its only rank 1 so far (I have 120 hours in the game and all of it fair and square with no money investment, the only platinum I got so far was from a lucky riven mod which sold for 300 plat).

no, its bound to focus schools. you need eidolons to unlock what is called "waybound" skills, which once turned on - will never be turned off regardless what school you use. they´re the permanent buffs. shit like far superior energy pool AND regen, far greater slinging distance and so on. what comes rj, just start joining on random runs RJ side. should stack you up with enough to build upgrades with. get crew from ticker in fortuna and so on. also stacks on intrisics that do help. what comes to modding, consider modpower "fuel". you get 60 units of that .. "fuel". but if you use a "Forma" (crack relics) to change a polarity to match a mod you have that has a high mod energy requirement, then that requirement is seriously reduced. with 2 to 6 forma, you can start building some real real shit with the good shit you got.

Because it still gives the damage bonus. The mod does say "rifle damage" but it should say "primary damage". I've swapped out primarys and rifle amp, and I did less damage in all types when not using it. At least, that's how it used to be.

Intro of this video alone tells me one thing people also do not realize is that, Younger and Newer Tenno players are so intimidated with maxed out arcanes and primed mods and the way Build Videos on youtube are presented makes it sound like "This build cannot work if it isn't setup specifically this way", which are not always the case. At times, lesser effectiveness for cheaper setup is already more than enough for that Newer Tenno to start farming endgame gears. Not to mention when it comes to veteran and regular tenno that always play hard gatekeeps builds like "OH NAH YOU SHOULD USE THIS BECAUSE REASONS" which is honestly so toxic or that "YOU SHOULD THIS FRAME BECAUSE ITS BETTER THAN THAT FRAME". And for all newer tenno out there trying to learn how to build a frame, one thing I can tell you is that yes, it always helps watching such build videos but you shouldn't follow them to the letter unless you want to or can afford to do so. Understand the frame you're using, understand their abilities, understand the setup you want to go for and understand the purpose of your frame. There are only a few frames that can quote-on-quote "do it all" in the game. However, I believe that more purpose-built frames are more enjoyable for any Tenno as they don't get bored using that one frame alone.

Watch everything on your screen turn into a red mist You can now successfully complete any steel path mission in the game.

Steel Path is really just "harder content" with acolyte spawns which gives you arcanes and Steel Essence. Arguably, the only mission i've found that matters to play SP mode is Void Cascade. Otherwise, you could just not even touch SP if you didn't want to.

i recommend if you do a melee situation, run all Gladiator Mods. If you aim to shoot everything run all Hunter Mods.
@ewg5511 Жыл бұрын
Just take Ash if you have him, you don't need anything on him, just duration for invisibility (don't kill his strength tho, keep at least 100% to be sure) and combo duration + attack speed on melee (i think it only stacks up to +55%), at 12x combo he'll kill anything with bladestorm and be generally fast about it, only needs zenurik, at least first node and maybe wellspring, he generally doesn't have energy issues on his own. Or go Hushed Invisibility Loki + Nataruk with Hunter Munitions, should be cheap/fast to get and while solo you'll pretty much turn almost any SP mission into a shooting range.

Also Friendly PSA: More attention span of the player = More gameplay and submersion in Warframe for the player. Long time player here. The number one greivence i've seen is players simply not committing to the game. It could be with building loadouts, quests, steel-path, or any number of the million avenues D.E has put into this game. My advice, set goals and check them off! See a build on youtube and go get it! Feels amazing when you find something that works for you! Be creative! :)

And would like to see also, as always, videos for builds(correct builds, not cheap) for every warframe, companion, and weapons, and the rest of things. Giving its right time. you are doing it right. Please don't fall for that crap, that criticism that you see. Something that i leaned about warframe, it is that you have to know that TIME is the key, to take things slow and ONE AT THE TIME, in this game. Because if not, you can feel like it is blastin you with so much things to do, at the time.

10:31 I suggest you use lesion with him. Lesion is not hard to build. Basically if you can build tipedo and have some resources for it, you are good to go. It's one of the most strongest melee in the game.No need for a special build also! But if you can invest on healing return it's definitely gonna be better with inaros and you don't have to add toxin to it's build, you can either make gas, viral, or corrosive but adding only one element. Since it combines it's toxin status with the element you with one you have you'll get combined elements. And almost every time your first hit gonna be your single element like fire, cold or electricity so you'll get extra proc for condition overload!
