Another honorable mention really should go to the Oloro MOA for having the Security Override precept. Put on the Master of Summons ability from the Helminth and many spy vaults become a matter of walking up to the glass, pressing MoS ability button, and watching your MOA walk right over and complete the vault in seconds.

There is also an helminth ability that allows you to cast an ability to skip the next hack, doesn’t cost much and has no cool down. That alone with augment of Ivara that can walk past lasers and alarms.

There is another beneficiary of the companion rework 2.0. And it is Venari. Now he is no longer just a support companion. He can actually do quite a lot of damage. And you can pair him with another beast or a sentinel/hound to get the best of both worlds.

Fun fact, Huras Kubrow will still attack enemies while cloaked. Shade will not attack so it is essentially useless from that aspect. I’ve been running Huras because he can nuke rooms solo while invis half the time and it is amazing.

I had never built predasites (despite liking their designs a lot) because everyone was saying that they were useless and Panzer Vulpaphyla was just the only Deimos companion worth to build. After the companion update I just ran to Deimos and got a Pharaoh Predasite simply because I liked how it looked, and imagine my surprise when I put a few mods on his claws and the entire room exploded. That boi is now by my side in every goddamn mission.

OK MOA Users, listen up. Moas are in my opinion the best passive weapon booster in the game. The build he said for Nautilus using Reinforced Bond, and Duplex Bond. Use that with the added bonuses: Blast Shield instantly gives your Moa overshield, granting free up time for Reinforced Bond. As for other Moa Precepts: If you like Nautilus's grouping ability, Moas also have 1 granted not as large a range. Stasis Field has been buffed, it is noticeably bigger than my frost's bubble with Stretch. It also just straight reduces damage now. We are also gonna use the Nautilus's weapon the Verglas, except half the build is gonna be vigilante mods, the other half is gonna be Rime Rounds, Galvanized Aptitude, Multishot, and Shivering Contagion. Why is this better than doing it on the Nautilus, because Nautilus sentinels when duplicated, don't follow you. All Moas do. Meaning this is coolant leak on steroids. The rest of my build Moa build is a little bit of health, and just quality of life mods. At higher levels, you can use pack leader to give your Moa overguard to protect the overshield that is giving you constant firerate.

Huras Kubrow has one big advantage compared to shade, that being that the Huras Kubrow can attack while invisible. And since you'd normally use those companions on Frames that don't utilize their weapons at all, you're free to mod your primary exclusively as a statstick for your Kubrow. With a Paris Prime incarnon you can reach over 300% status chance as well as over 125% crit chance with an 11x crit mult on your Huras Claws. On the other hand Shade probably dosn't die as much, which is a big plus if it's invis is your main defense. I still preferre my furrball of destruction personally, seeing it tear apart SP enemies from stealth is just too comical not to use it.

I personally went for a huge primer build for my panzer. Assassin's posture magnetic strike, bell ringer, and the 60/60 mods to make gas cold, with immunity resistance, precision conditioning, and cull the weak paired with manifold bond and swipe. This gives me a guaranteed 6 statuses (7 on overguarded/shielded enemies, due to how magnetic procs work) and a 100% armor strip in an aoe

Fire, Electric, and Toxin procs have no cap to the number of stacks they can have now. It's actually been that way for a pretty long time. It's just nobody had any reason to use the non-fire procs. With the enemy rework we have a reason now. Both are particularlly good but electric is not only a DoT proc, it's an _aoe_ DoT proc with an added CC. If enemies are in range to be re-up'ed by your pets they're also probably in range for the arcs to do AoE damage. A note about smeeta: she has a whole ass second ability nobody talks about that is actually pretty good now, too. Mischief does several things, not the lease of which is give +700% stealth damage bonus to her weapons for as long as she is invisible. Meaning, as long as her decoy is alive. The decoy having extra threat priority over you is good for survivability, and when it goes off the AoE blind it does is the only pet ability in the game that opens enemies up to finishers. This pairs well with Melee Crescendo if you're using a weapon that it's hard to build stacks for.

Panzer vulpaphyla has very good dps too due to his viral priming. And he has sharpened claws, territorial aggression and fear sense. These are very good damage mods imo. And panzer can have %106 crit chance and %70 status chance without Hunter Syngegy or Mecha overdrive. You can play any primary weapon with panzer. Just put Bite, Precision conditioning, Maul, Immunity resistance, any %330 element, Two %60 status any element and swipe for last slot.

Huras and Shade are both good, but Huras's invis is more reliable than Shade's. The reason is that Huras always attempts to be in front of you, which puts it closer to the enemies and will proc the invis at a further range than Shade, who can't move away from the warframe. This makes it especially effective on Spy runs, because it will much more often invis you before enemies see you. I take the Shade if I want self-revive or extra CC/cold status, and Huras for better stealth and straight damage.

I love the Sunika kubrow with the savage ability thats a 10m dash and 1 shot of 8 enemies, add the slash and heat claws, paris prime incarnon with riven for crit hes a beast. Sitting on a listed 100%+ crit at 11.2x crit multiplier, 200% status chance and a listed claw damage of 20k. The posture for agressive attacking and 4x puncture proc on hit that works well with the pet CO mod for 3x status types easy. Add the mecha set and he instantly clears rooms with me afk at lv 200 SP on LUA

lately, my new favourite becamed the Helminth charger, cuz it deals more dmg than my weapons :)) darn thing has 10k dmg for its claws, and with that Cull the Weak mod, it will deal constantly 20k+ dmg... also it has nidus's 1st and 2nd abilities, soo, yea... it doesn't prime enemies with status, cuz everything it touches, dies...

I don´t care how many reworks the other companions get, I love my panzer vulpaphyla, he (or she, I´m not sure yet) is the reason I endured farming the hellhole know as the Cambion Drift, I chose him (or her) because Vulpaphylas don´t die they just enter their wormy state, just floating next to you till the regenerate and return to (cutely) giving every enemy the flu on steroids, plus my Deimos (yes, I chose that name for sentimental reasons) is way cuter that all the kavat and kubros on the system. #rejectsentinelsembracevulpaphylas

Unfortunately Bite and the beast 60-60 mods were not touched in the update and are still so ludicrously rare (only drop in couple specific places in the entire game, from rarely spawning enemies, at 0.6% drop chance from those enemies...) that most players do not have them, and thus can only mod without status or possibly for only 1 or two (Admittedly you only need a bit to start the conversion mods going, but you may have none). Without drop changes to these, many people are very limited in companion building.

Helios need to be in Must Have tier. Vicious bond is hard to be viable on most companions because its only 15% armor per melee hit, but deconstructor prime's glaives count as a melee. mod your sentinel with Vicious bond, seismic bond (aoe that counts as a melee hit) Duplex bond (for more sentinel copies meleeing). Next, mod your deconstructor with quick return, whirlwind, and primed fury to make it attack as fast as possible. You can throw on shattering impact to speed up the armor strip as well. with this setup, and some basic survivability/qol mods for helios, you have a companion that armor strips passively and scans everything.

None of these things synergise. Seismic bond doesn’t strip from vicious, and duplex doesn’t strip either. Shattering impact not only procs on only 1 3rd of Helios attacks its is a flat strip which doesn’t realistically strip faster if using vicious bond

The better build is to use rebound and either scourge or void status or [astral bond] to let Helios bound 6 times per glaive inside a void bubble allowing Helios to strip within a second. I have a Helios nuke build with contagious bond that I want to upload soon. Lmk if you would be interested

Null audit is also really good on priming hounds, any leech, blitz, arson,toxin and especially electric eximus accelerate how much status you prime, with manifold bond the hound becomes a nuke with this setup.

About the Retriever mods: most early game players might wanna run the loyal retriever mod. But if you are later, you just swap out the mod for whatever you need more of. Having additional passive credit income is nice especially since you don't have to kill the profit taker or run the Index as often.

dont worry, he has some info wrong. Smeetas charm still gives credit buff. Look it up on the dev change notes. It also still gives the huge affinity boost to level up your frames and weapons better. It only lost its double ressource effect and a lower chance on double credits. Unless ofc they removed her credits in any of the recent changes.

The buffs for shade are perfect for limbo. You can simply take your time choosing your targets and only engaging when you are ready to obliterate everything, it also makes you disapear almost imediatly if things goes wrong greatly improving his chances of survival.

Huras is better than the shade because it can use resourceful retriever and the shade cannot

Well played ninjas on yt has a cool build with helminth and nidus but the mods are hard to get would be good as a frame work and change out mods for more general use

damn no mention of tazicor which is electric verglas with chaining little note on modding for compaions their precepts mods the abiltiy ones like guardian cordon and so on do have a priority cast so example like putting cordon and guardian in the top left slot and the top left then right slot it would cast cordon more often then guardian yeah i still havent seen proof that chesa is THAT good for farming cus usually you have 2 nekros why have 1 smol one thats way slower like i think both the nekros will desecrate before the dog can btw for mecha overdrive incarnon dread strun and boar are the best for it

I’ve been trying to get a hound but I guess I’m gonna have to grind some mods along with other stuff to survive the granum void not to mention idk why requiem mods are needed to take down the sisters but I just wanted the hound

Same. I'm not a min/maxer, the comfort afforded by my carrier prime is second to none. I don't see what other pet might make the game more enjoyable than "Loot fly toward you, container open by themselves and you have unlimited amno". Cause in the end its also about enjoyement, not passive farming a map by letting your dog clear the map for you.
