I've been experimenting with Volt a lot. Even with different build combinations. It has nothing on my Saryn build that can handle 12 waves of Sanctuary Onslaught solo. Volt needs help with armour removal. Also Volt's Shock with Shock Trooper doesn't really do well compared to Saryn's Toxic Lash. I've been testing Electricity status and personally I find it a poor status type. I've even tried Melee Influence on Primed Nikana focused on Electric and Slash. But I found that it works better with an all round build on War. But even though I've given it a higher Electricity priority it seems quite uncommon to trigger with a high status effect. To get as much as I can out of my Volt. I add 4 +15% Ability Damage from Electric damage instead of Ability Strength archon shards. It makes Volt slower but the damage is quite noticeable and works well in Elite Archimedea. I use Nourish with Archon Stretch for energy regeneration. For mods, I give it max range and the usually high strength mods with Precision Intensify. I've also been giving Cold status a chance but it's just so underwhelming. Heat + Viral is just too good for majority of factions except the Murmur.

Wooow shocker another nourish build……. I’m going to say this, and this isn’t a reflection of the creator because this build slaps and he did a great job. However I have come to despise the Hellmith. It shows that many warframes, without the Hellmith are lacking. They don’t play up to par and the devs seem to be fighting the way people want to play vs how they want us to play. And it’s a constant tug of war. I get it though. If you give players what they want, the game becomes a power creep nightmare that the devs cannot control. Likewise if you play the way the devs want you to play, it becomes boring. So a balance must be struck. Sadly, too many frames are getting left in the dust. There is even a frame so specialized that it’s completely obsolete after literally ranking as the king of frames for a period (Loki). The Hellmith should be a great way to build alternative strong builds for warframes. Instead, it’s the ONLY way to make probably 50% of warframes viable in high level content. Es no bueno to me. Volt doesn’t have that problem. But many other frames do. Imma go recreate this thought later and share it with DE.

if I am using Dual Toxicyst, theres no point for me to play Volt. I could literally play any frames with this weapon, stack roar/nourish, and I would still go complete any and every content in this game.

I am going to start by saying, I really do like the frame breakdowns at the beginning. They are very helpful for understanding the frame. But after that all I can think is, this isn't a volt build, nor was that Saryn video. If it only works with that one weapon, and that weapon can go on any frame and work, then it is a build for that weapon. Volt is just a good weapon platformer frame to mega buff your QOL and DPS. But so is Saryn, Rhino, Gauss, Mirage, Jade, Wisp, Ember, Oberon, Limbo, Kullervo, Harrow, Excalibur, Frost, Dante, Dagath, Banshee, and Chroma. (I may have missed some) Take Volt out of the title!

that guide is complete bs, so many conditions just to use volt for poking mobs with a toothpick. In my opinion it is completely overdone for no reason. You can simply use volt with decent duration and adaptation on with a decent gun. I really feel these types of builds with so many conditions misguides new players in completely wrong direction. Why overdo while u can get torid incarnon and shred everything (btw gl with your headshots with dual toxoxyst while in party) :D

Fair point, i think he was trying to cater to endgame players, but as one of those i would rate this build a 6/10 initially. I dont see this going past lvl 400 sp, which is also not endgame anymore 😂🤔 though to play devils advocate you cant have an endgame build without initial steps (with the exception of S tier frames such as saryn, rev, and protea) it’s not rational. For most endgame frames theres always setup. And thats coming from someone with every frame built with their own loadouts. So i disagree with you on thinking builds can nonchalantly be built (especially without rivens.) But you are right about misguiding new players, i think this build is for casual players and not endgame try-hards 😂

I like the build. It teaches me new stuff that i would never go testing or searching for myself. I also rarely use ranged weapons because it just isnt fun. I dont wanna go into a room hold down a single button and obliterate everything. I wanna go in there melee in hand and cause total carnage with my blade only

I think the whole takeaway of your videos is that you're much better off creating loadouts rather than standalone builds. Rakta Dark Dagger + Argonak is the bread and butter of any build that wants to survive without any particular ability (you just need an augur mod somewhere in your loadout and that's incredibly easy since any warframe wants at least something between Strength, Duration or Range) if you're willing to sacrifice two weapons from your loadout. Expecially if you're a secondary weapon enthusiast, you can use Primary Dexterity on your Argonak to free a mod slot from the Dagger and focus on a damage arcane for your secondary. That being said, Warframe is a game that you simply cannot really enjoy at its fullest, in the long term, by sticking to 1 loadout. I challenge you doing all the daily content with 1 single loadout, expecially the most tedious ones like Plains of Eidolon or Fortuna bounties. You're gonna rot and regret you were born and playing Warframe. With this in mind you either build several loadouts for every single Warframe or Weapon concept you have in mind or do what the vast majority of players do.. just make standalone builds for every type of content maybe barring the highest level stuff like Void Cascade endurance and Deep Archimedean. Same reason why people don't run the faction damage mods me included outside of Deep Archimedean and Netracells.

I like watching these videos because it's fun to see what the frames are capable of. However, the videos that focus on super OP builds are not relevant to me personally since I don't have all max rank arcanes, limitless shards, and the weapons that you use. That said, I would encourage you to keep making content like this for your veteran players as well as content for your early and mid game viewers. Everyone needs to understand that not all of your content is for every player, and you never say that your way is the only way to do things. Love your channel. Love your vids.

For everyone looking at this thread, I posted a vid about oberon infinite revive strat on my channel. Not stealing any viewers, just FYI if u wanna see it. In short, if u got sacrifice mod from plague star, get a sentinel and put it on top left slot. Then mod primed regen (or regen but primed recommended) U can also subsume dispensary above that with dispensary augment, and lastly build for oberon's 3 to have max bleedout duration (also equip undying will? maybe) Now this creates a loop in which your oberon has longer bleedout than recovery time of sentinel, giving u perma death evasion This works on all frames that can have long bleedouts, like sevagoth or inaros or bleedout pause from upcoming new warframe jade 3rd ability

@@A_Game_Zone hmm interesting, personally i dont like to be downed most of the time and having to rely on a companion is too slow. This is the problem with oberon, hes ground pov in endgame content. Its not rational to choose oberon over others like revenant or the newly reworked inaros. Oberon should be a support with heals and cc. The problem isnt necessarily him, its that everyone else has gotten stronger. Im currently working on an oberon build that utilizes his 2nd with topaz tau shards. Dont get me wrong, i think your build is fine. Personally, I’d rather kill enemies before they can down me, thats the best kind of survivability to me.

As an actual Volt main, after the first 5 minutes of this video i stopped listening (and it was difficult to listen that long) Imma be honest with you, if you think Capacitance and Transistor shield aren't that useful, you should try running Volt solo on Mot. With both, you'll not only have infinite shields, but literally every enemy shot that hits the shield adds extra damage due to Volt's passive, meaning that if you time it correctly you can literally sit in a corner an nearly infinitely farm whatever you want provided you have a decent AoE weapon like the Zarr or Torrid and good status builds. Grab an ancient healer specter for insurance and make sure your operator has good synergy with Volt (ie wellspring, decent arcanes, etc) and you won't have to do any of the convoluted shite you've designed this video around. And I'm saying you can get orange/red crits without an incarnon, i haven't even got my first incarnon and i get my crits with nothing more than riven-built weapons and synergy. Please experiment more with Volt's kit. You're trying to use him as a nuke frame when he's a CC/Spellsword class character. You gotta synergize *correctly*, not just add in whatever on-paper stat sticks you can cook up, just about any frame can do what you just did in this video and it doesn't require Volt specifically. Shards, helminth, incarnons, and min-maxxing are not exclusive to any particular frame. Also, Ash's Seeking Shuriken strips armor 100% with nothing more than Umbral Intensify, and when he's built for duration and efficiency with a tiny bit of power strength, he too can run solo Mot for several hours no sweating provided your weapons are up to the task. Basically I'm saying this video has almost nothing to do with Volt and is total clickbait.

argonak stripping relies on grouping and densely packed enemies to strip quickly....without it its pretty terrible armor stripping so you can understand why hes relying on inarnon secondary. The final joke is that the dual toxycst is quite an inconsistent weapon to use against acolytes as hitscan weapons dont tend well against acolyte attenuation and youd probably be better off using the lex.

1. Volt's passive is pretty good in normal star chart, but once it gets to steel path where enemies are heavily armored and lightning elemental damage starts to fall off without armor strip, it's actually pretty bad. It doesn't benefit from most mods, as far as I know only applies as final damage as opposed to a base damage buff (I'm open to being corrected here). In practice, it's pretty much negligible when the damage caps out at 1k and enemies have millions upon millions of effective health, or tens of thousands even with a full armor strip. 2. Transistor shield synergizes with volt's passive, which as I've established simply isn't enough in steel path. But that's pretty much all the value that it offers. When deciding how to use your mod slots, you need to work to maximize your mod capacity, and wasting a mod slot on an augment that barely does anything for you is objectively a bad move if you're trying to maximize your output. 3. Capitance IS very good, but is kind've negligible here since he subsumes volt 4 out for nourish. And without armor strip you need to go through a ton of hoops to get discharge to be able to consistently kill in steel path. It's possible, but the whole point of his build is effectiveness balanced with ease of use; hence. 4. Speaking of armor strip, Ash's seeking shuriken is arguably one of the worst armor strips in the game due to its limited targeting. Not only that, but you're wasting a subsume slot on a middling ability AND need to use an augment just to get it to perform averagely compared to all the other armor strips in the game. With argonak + rakta dagger you just slash a few times and a whole room gets armor stripped. With seeking shuriken the max amount of targets you can shred per hit is TWO. We're talking spending 25 energy to shred 2 enemies vs being able to do it pretty much passively at no expense by just holding E for a second or two. 5. Dual Tox is good not just because it orange/red crits, but because it does so while benefitting from virtually infinite ammo economy, incredible mod efficiency due to its innate toxin buff, and its ability to not only benefit from absurd headshot multipliers but also passively do so with pseudo AOE, something that few other guns can do. Other guns can easily red crit sure, but they get vastly outperformed by dual tox incarnon. 6. Volt's kit can make him an effective CC/Spellsword you're absolutely right. That's exactly what this build does. He's AOE stripping enemies then taking them out by using the setup he's made to turn Volt into an incredibly potent gun platform who uses weapons capable of taking out large amounts of enemies. Most people actually use Volt as an AOE nuker at high levels so ironically, he's using Volt more in line with what you seem to think he should be and experimenting OUTSIDE of the generally accepted meta. This guy dropped a thorough build explaining all that Volt can do and then made a build that encompasses the things he likes about the warframe and invited us to try it. The title may be a bit hyperbolic, but I'm sure many people watched it and decided to give Volt another try, which is a GOOD thing. Your whole post comes off as someone who may use and enjoy volt but doesn't even remotely understand how the endgame scales or why Volt has fallen out of favor at high levels of play, and your criticisms not only miss the point of the video, but offer subpar alternatives that suggest very little understanding of the actual gamestate past like- base star chart.

already been running a similar build and rakta dark dagger might not do red crits but has higher kpm than dual tox, dual tox is just there for acolytes and demolists. Nourish+ Energy nexus is the only energy economy you need.

He has the ultimate survivability, plus when you mod with hunter adrenaline you get infinite energy provided you aren't already cc grouping everything in the room to ground finisher them for health refills or spreading corrosive and potentially full stripping with 2 green shards, which also cc enemies

The Argonak/RaktaDD combo works on everything that has shields tbh. So you just build a weapon platform frame build that can utilize shields, and you're gtg. I use this since a long time, and it's making a lot of frames just survive for ages while dealing super high dmg combines with Diriga. The Furis Incarnon is also pretty good secondary, as it has +Overshield dmg bonus and hits super hard too.

I did the exact damn build but not the companion (which just gives bonus dmg so it's fine). I didnt put lots of strength so nourish wont proc a lot (like on the video). At first I was barely surviving using mainly toxocyst (boosted it with 100% elc dmg with the augment as well) and it's really damn powerful. Anyways my Rakta has electricity and radiation (radiation is little bit less) and I need to constantly use the melee so I actually get to replenish the shield because I proc radiation 1/3 of the times (which is pretty much the thing that ruins it). When the stalker spawns and some thraxes with him because I play on Lua I get destroyed. I use 1 when shield depletes so there is shield gate and just when I start trying to get radiation proc it goes down again and it's almost impossible to get back to the max shield with all those enemies shooting at you. In other words the build is meh... I was actually excited that my volt could be something more than just using terrify.. Honestly really disappointing.

I think I managed to make it better. In the simulacrum I put Focus Radon (radiation + heavy attack efficiency) on the place of the electricity mod on the dagger. Using the augment for volt and the shield (from his 3rd ability) I am pretty sure that electricity dmg that I deal the game considers it to be from my melee because I see Melee Influence activating in the Simulacrum while I have only radiation on my dagger. Now I get radiation procs more frequently which is very good. Edited: I just confirmed that the augment gave me that electricity damage and not the shield (3rd ability). It says that the mod gives 100% electricity to allies and their attacks. Very interesting!

Not coming to hate but the rakta dagger + nourish + adaptation will pretty much make you an immortal room clearer with most frames. Not really particular to volt here. The argonak armor strip relies on close enemies so idk how youre stripping the acoylte that quickly without unairu.

I mean the acolytes only have 50 base armor at level 1 and since the amalgam mod works the exact same as the Shattering Impact it will remove the base armor directly before it's multiplied by level %, meaning that to fully armor strip acolytes you only need to remove the base 50 armor which only takes you ~8.33 any type of damage dealt by the dagger. Their armor never really was an issue either way but there's that.

Oh don't worry, you'll get there ;) For a more budget version of this Build, you can replace all Primed Mods with the normal versions and replace Augur Message with Equilibrium so you don't need Archon Shards for the Energy ;) The Rakta Dark Dagger though is pretty important for survivability in Steel Path. SHould you not be in SP yet, then that's no problem either, though ;)

It's sad how many people sleep on volts 4, it scales not only with strength but also with range and it deals crazy damage (if modded right) against corpus and infested and If you armour strip with terrify or pillage it also deals alot of damage against grineer

It scales with range, strength, and duration. It's really good when paired with armor strip. For immune enemies, you can honestly just equip a weapon like Laetum and annihilate them before they can do anything since all the other enemies are either stunned or dead. Volt is one of the easiest frames to build due to his versatility.

The dagger for example from what I hear is only available from nigjtwave and if you don't have the incarnon pistol mod from the circuit then your out of luck. This is great if you've been playing for a long time and have everything available. Most people don't have any of what your using.

I tried exactly this. It did kinda work but it took soooo long. That darn rifle can't kill anything so you'd have to just prime the foes with it and then kill them with another weapon xD One thing that came to mind after uploading would be maybe an Arch Gun. That could do ;)

2 things i noticed, 1 we arent taking advantage of the +100% status, some movement speed and energy economy from gleaming blight, 2 archon reach isnt beong utelized despite the fact that the elec from shock and volts shields prock it and give 2 energy per second for a total of 20 energy back over 10 sec, so in that way we could swap some archon shards and gain some efficiency, otherwise, great build, love the content and keep posting and bringing new combinations and builds to the community blacky! Good work!

1:50 I like to use Shocking Speed when doing speed runs, especially Void Fissure missions, because it blows up nearby loot boxes so I don't miss out on loot when speeding through the mission.

Not bad. If youre speed-running a regular sp mission. As a volt main with at least 1k hours put into him alongside 3 other fully built primes i would rate this build a 6/10 initially, i will come back when i try this build out for an actual rate. But if youre looking for an endgame build you can take into sp duviri or elite DA then forget about shocktrooper and subsume it for nekro’s terrify. Build for high strength for a full armor strip and increased speed. This is easily achieved by using 2 red tau archons and r5 molt augmented arcane. 2 yellow tau shards for casting obvi. And the last archon slot is a flex slot. I prefer preparation, but primed sure footed is okay too. In normal missions having the grimoire with xatas invocation is a must for energy sustainability. Im a melee stan with volt cause his 2nd boosts movement so pretty much any melee you have will be fine. Personally I love the reaper prime built for the respected faction dmg, cc, cd and primed reach meaning i use my 5th archon flex slot for the purple tau. Lastly ensure amalgam serration is on your primary for the increase movement speed to max his passive more frequently. A good recommendation for early game is the amprax, after that endgame is a 60% magnetic tenet glaxion. Mind you without the grimoire you’ll need to find a way to sustain energy, or have arcane energize or someone on the team with nourish is a must. This only applies to loadout restricted content like sp circuit or DA. Ive taken this build to elite DA and level cap meaning it will work anywhere (except world bosses.) Play-style is a bit different as you have to move around before you can shoot, but just pop his 3rd and run around until you can build it up, pop his 1st(terrify) and then his 4th. So its 2,3,1,4 as the ability combo. Otherwise i will come back to this video for my final critique on the build, but initially i do not see this volt being viable in loadout restricted content meaning its not endgame viable. But definitely better than a lot of other volt loadouts 😂

Alrighty so update: ive tried this build and i was pleasantly surprised that the shield tanking capabilities this build holds. I took this into a sp void cascade omnia mission and had little to no problem with keeping my shields up and not dying (granted i was with a wisp constantly healing me) but it was good nontheless. Personally I do not like the dual toxocyst due my aim being shit 😂 but ofc when I did go incarnon it did what it does. The dagger is unique, but I wouldnt rely on it to do massive dmg especially when going up against lvl 1000 enemies. You have to constantly be micromanaging and for the lazy wf community thats too much of a hassle. I would recommend this build to vets that know the game, know volt and know how to survive. Its niche but a good challenge to use. Unfortunately thats where the praise ends cause after the 1 1/2hr mark i started to get hit hard and i found myself being grounded more often than not. I didnt even attempt to take this to elite DA cause level cap is my stress test for any build. And i never got lucky enough to get the loadout in sp circuit. Additionally, I would forget about the argonak and just use the tenet glaxion in tandem with volts shield up to MELT enemies. I would also change the secondary to an aoe/chaining secondary like the nuker, cycron, or my personal favorite the grimoire, and put on that new secondary arcane that gives overguard. Otherwise all in all I rate this a solid 6/10. A good challenge for vets and easy to use in early game, but not practical for endgame content (i.e. elite DA, 60 eyes boss, archon hunt)

You just quickly do a few melee hits if your shield actually breaks ;) Also with the Gas clouds everywhere you can keep the Shield Recharge up for about 10s with this build even without actively hitting things with the dagger itself ;)

Last time i played the game was 2018 but still watch videos about it. It might be sound weird at the first time but i was look like exactly something like this. A rainbow fun build 🎉 I imagine countless build in my head but almost non of them was close to this one (even its quite overdone which i liked it) He is pretty good at versitality, easy and comfy to play, he is not get stucked at bam bam all dead bs (thats not the reason why i play, tempo is the king for me) cuz if i gonna do that whole day i have to get paid irl... The problem is that CS will only give you 1.4s of Shield Gating. With PRD you get the max of 2.5s if you fill up the Shields to at least 1150. With the Rakta Dark Dagger this is no problem so it's way more convenient to play than with CS ;)

Just put a couple forma on your sentinel weapon and add the radiation mod and you dont have to worry about weight with elec and nourish as much bc everything you're hitting with melee will already have rad on it from sentinel. This build is fun tho for sure
