I was glad to see this pop up in my feed. We have only done Vista and Excel class on carnival. We booked Sunrise because so many other cruisers we have chatted with on past cruises said they loved it. Some times I have regrets since it is only 5 days and older but I have a feeling we will like it too.

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went on a Sunrise cruise, and I have to say, I didn't enjoy it much. While we were onboard, there wasn't much to do. Initially, I thought I might be overreacting, but I soon discovered that over half the people I ran into felt the same way. Many guests were voicing their complaints and expressing a desire for refunds. Everything from the entertainment to the food just felt off. I've spoken to Carnival about my concerns, and I hope they can address the issues. Honestly, I don’t think I will ever go on the Sunrise cruise again.

@@Naturalhealthnaturalbeauty I think overall Carnival’s food has improved but when we were on this ship it was right when they revamped the menu and it has been the best Carnival food I’ve had thus far. Not sure if that’s still the case or not.

Well- not sure about your house but all of the bathrooms in our house have glass doors. But the reason people complain is because those shower curtains are not washed regularly and it’s sometimes difficult avoiding the “shower curtain stick” when washing up in those tiny showers. Lol

Royal Caribbean International Harmony Of The Seas had a medical emergency onboard, turned the ship around which caused our family of FIFTEEN all to miss our flights!! This sailing left December 8th and returns to Galveston Sunday the 15th tomorrow. The airline charged us $430 PER PERSON to change our flights which leaves a day later. We have to get hotel rooms and transfers from Galveston to Houston out of pocket and Royal Caribbean said they can’t help with shuttle service. They offered $200!! How many passengers are stranded and losing work over this debacle!? This greedy cruise line should be ashamed of themselves!! What a mess! Someone please help!😢

Well I sure hope whoever had the medical emergency was ok. Thankfully it wasn’t one of your 15 family members- I am sure you would have wanted the ship to turn around to help your family member (without any thoughts on missed or delayed flights). These things happen unfortunately. And this is where travel insurance kicks in. You may have to pay out of pocket but the insurance company should reimburse you- not the cruise line. But my prayers (and help) are with whoever had that unfortunate medical emergency. 🙏🏽. I do hope other than this delay, that you had an amazing cruise vacation with your family.

Wow. That’s unfortunate. Hope the person was ok. But yes travel insurance helps your travel be great. I used to not pay for it until lately a lot of people have been getting sick or even passing away on the cruise. I get it all the time now.
