We have to try Princess too! Looking at Sky,Enchanted, Sun or Star with our teen for the next Christmas/NY time frame. We tried Holland (Rotterdam) for the first time this past Christmas and we absolutely loved it, our teen too! Yes, it was more chill but such a great experience and during the holidays there were people including kids of all ages! I would love to see you compare these two lines.

I just got off the Majestic Princess. A 5 day Coastal from Vancouver Canada to Los Angeles. Yes, the Voyage was predominantly Elderly, but they party! The food was delicious and the ship was amazingly gorgeous, and the Majestic is not a newer ship. It’s clean and well kept. The ship doesn’t look or smell old. The shows were nice as well. Some are saying the longer the voyage on a Princess Ship, the older the people, not true on my voyage. IMO, the Itinerary makes the deference when it comes to the age group on Princess Cruises. Also the majority of passengers were Caucasian on the Canada itinerary. You get more of a diversity on newer Princess ships too. The class of people, even when your during an itinerary in the Caribbean have a different vibe than carnival, and that’s why I like Princess Cruises. There’s less children running around too. So younger people are found more on the newer Princess ships sailing to tropical warmer destinations. I had a very good time on my cruise this week with Princess Cruises.❤🎉💃🏾🕺🏻👍🏾

Thank you! I primarily use a GoPro Hero 12. But at times I use my iPhone 15 and for unique shots, I use an Insta360 X3 camera with invisible selfie stick.

Hi Racquelle, my husband and I are older but party people. We love all the live music and nightclubs on Carnival and Margaritaville Islander but want a nicer ship. Is it hard to find good dance music on Sky Princess?

I understand that. You may have trouble finding good dance music on Sky Princess. But Sun Princess had some amazing live entertainment! That ship is trying to attract a bit of a younger crowd so I found the music overall to be more upbeat than some of the other Princess ships.

definitely not diverse passengers. allllll the food looks like it slap! good entertainment, thermal spa looks gorgeous. looks easy to navigate. i really like the decor, its not stuffy decor or looking like a hospital. ship appears to quiet for me, no calypso band playing music on the deck or version of cover songs. no way i could do this ship without a group (at my age)

I agree it’s not as diverse as I’d like to see, but I had no problem with this. Food is good. Entertainment even better. The pool deck can be quiet at times but they’ll have music at certain points-or at the aft pool. As well as at the Piazza (atrium). Looking forward to see how Sun Princess compares when I board tomorrow.

It seems rather frequently the "AGEISM" factor is ALWAYS a topic of contention about Cruise Lines. Older people deserve to go on them and not be labeled in a undesirable fashion. They have earned the right to enjoy their Golden Year's after paying into the system accordingly. And taking a Cruise shouldn't deter anyone from sailing from THAT age bracket. People who want to sail a particular Cruise Line need to research the demographic whom they cater to and if that would be their desired accommodation. If anyone wants to party then maybe they should look into somewhere who handles that. We need to respect those who are trying to have a well deserved experience without a pigeon holed mentality based on their age. It's biased and unfair. Not all Senior's belong in a long care facility or retirement home. Let them live freely and enjoy their time regardless!!!

@@patriciapatrick2279 People go cruising for different reasons and they need to know what's the average atmosphere of a particular sailing. Some people are looking for cruises that have a lot of kids activities, others are looking for a very hype party atmosphere, others don't want to deal with many kids onboard, others want a more relaxing laid back cruise, others want a cruise that has a lot of academic and cultural enrichment activities. There are definitely cruises for everyone and there are older people that love to party and that enjoy having kids around while others prefer quiet cruises
