@@awesomesauce5974 Agreed. Gravios is far from my favourite monster, but it is still weird to see Basarios without it's fully-grown version. Just like how it's really weird to see Jaggis and Jaggias running around without a Great Jaggi to control the pack.

It's because of cool bowgun vids like this that I ended up picking it up exclusively for my 4U run (I'm currently totting Monoblos' HBG), These are excellent tips against Gravios. I ended up noticing the little nuances you mention here because I farmed him a lot. I'd say Black Gravios is quite a bit more dangerous (in 4U) due to having new tricks, but knowing the beam safe zones goes a long way.

For some reason, KZbin doesn't have the song in the Food/Items/Equipment/Intro segment listed automatically whenever you use this song in particular. Might I ask which song this is? Not yet, I can consider covering all of the training quests at some point but it's not a huge priority. I could also see about doing Fatalis but, yeah, right now the main goal is getting to Ukanlos. After that, I'm not sure, there's definitely some side MHFU guides I want to make like bow/bowgun damage calculation and Felyne Comrades and *maybe* some challenge quests, but for the most part that's the end of the planned MHFU videos and I'd be moving on to MHP3rd most likely, hopefully with voice over this time, if I can move.

How come whenever Gravios walk the ground doesnt shake while Dablios walking makes ground shake but i think Gravios is heavier.

In G-Rank you don't want to take too many risks. If you see me get hit in the video there's no way I would survive getting hit twice without healing. Times where I wasn't shooting in hindsight may have been unnecessary, but at the time I needed to make sure I wasn't going to get hit first. According to the wiki, you can only(?) get it from tail carves, but the chance is the same for high or G-Rank, so you should do it in high rank. Nekoht's version has less health than the guild hall's high rank, but uses a G-Rank move set. You can do it like a plate run, try and cut the tail, get the ESP skill if you can/want, carve it, if you get it, die 3 times to keep it, or abandon/reset your game and try again. Apparently you're better off farming regular Gravios instead of Black Gravios for a brain stem.

Thanks :) I tried a sleep negate evade distance up set with Atlantica (the Water LS) and it... went alright, I think... I think if you follow what I did here, clearing out the Remobra and avoiding Area 9, you may be alright, but avoiding hitting the legs is annoying tbh. If you use three pitfall traps you may break his chest right away too, I did that once but couldn't replicate it.

It makes bullet and coating combinations always craft the maximum amount. IMO it's a very important skill. Normally combinations for ammo are like "1~3" meaning you could get, as an example, between 10 and 30, if you could only make 10 of that ammo. Meaning you're missing up to 20 shots worth of damage.
