@FrostyFin Actually, you don't need Guard Inc. You can block everything that matters, lightning and body slam included. If possible, grab an armor that boosts your damage output, Sharpness+1 / RA+ / AttUp etc. Sharpening Skill Inc helps too if you plan on shelling Fatty when it enters armor mode. Survival helps too, negative resistance aside, you can survive getting one hit KO-ed. Not to mention the handy Guard+1/2 (can't rmb which) that comes with it.

Good question. I'm planning on making a Shelling guide soon~ Anyways, just stay as close as you can to its right foot, ur left and shell twice when it summons lightning. WF when you can and place tons of bombs. :)

Shimmy! Good news, great news and maybe some bad >:D. Good news, I think YOU ARE A MIND READER, or I think I told you, can't remember if I did. But I was going to GL Fatalis with friends this week! Thanks for this vid, couldn't have come at a better time. Great news, theres a blood patch but bad news, its only currently working for US versions. I tested it out, and theres even an extreme/kill bill version and blood spews out like waterfalls! It's awsome.

@FrostyFin The Narga GL would be great for non-armor mode scenarios, but the Normal shots (iirc) will take forever if you are planning to shell White Fatty to death. Either bomb him, or get a Spread / Long GL to finish the job. :) Not sure about the HP though.

nice thnx for the move triangle-O-O-Triangle-dodge left-reload, thnx it works in rathalos and rathian 2 but the differance is you have to block when you finish reload then approach to it again

Popcorn is the best shelling GL, best used when Fatty enters armor mode. For non-armor mode, World's End / Black Fatalis GL are equally as good. :)

@ModdingFanatic I was filming agaisnt a Hr9 White Fatalis, thus the Narga GL. If it's the lower rank Fatalis, just use a lower rank equivalent weapon, in this case, the Hr6 Narga GL. Bear in mind that the Narga GL isn't the only decent GL against Fatalis. :)

Ur method is quite good too ! But then , that'l require some precise positioning and luck in the event Fatalis decides to do a bodyslam. Yikes ! And thanks for the thumbs up. :) Fob is great. ^_^ Some of his videos were my source of inspiration.

Popcorn is best for shelling. Against White, if you want to jab more, best GL for that is Black Fatalis's. Purple sharpness adds a ton of damage (with sharpness+1).

After activating wyvern fire with R+Tri+O, use the analog to adjust the direction. :)

Don't worry. Took me awhile to figure it out when I first started using GLs too. xD R ( block first ) then while holding R , press Triangle and Circle. :) Move ur analog to aim. :D

@coldhearted999 Shen gaoren is really hard with a lance but some tips I have are basicly just aiming for the legs and when you knock him over aim for his face. For armor you may want full blangonga,yian garuga,or rathalos armor.For a lance you probably want to use the rathalos lance, the tigrex lance, or the dark lance.

Yes I have 2g. JUMP quest? Like Teostra? They are pretty much the same actually, except the sizes are tweaked and they have increased HP / dmg. Oh and different rewards. ;)

Ahh, great video. I never knew about the Wyvern's Fire openings. What would you say *is* the best GL for fatty? I've been using World's End, but I hear Spread is a better shell for him, and yet my only spread GL is Pop Corn.

As long as it is a decent Gunlance with at least blue ( hr6 ) or white ( hr9 ) it's good. Preferably with dragon and / or spread shots. :]

Tried Shelling it yet? Bring along LBB+. Even without Bomber, the extra firepower is handy. Place 2 when it comes down from the tower and wyvern fire. Deals tremendous damage. ;) Or you do suicide runs - run into the fray with bombs and cluster shots (there's a rapidfire one made from G ranked Kirin), and die 3x then repeat til A.M. is gone.

Guts activates when ur HP is more than 60% and you take a fatal blow (one that effectively KOs you). Instead of killing of you, ur HP gets reduced to the minimum value.

I would strongly suggest using a HeavyBowGun / LightBowGun with PelletS. If you insist on using a hammer, try searching for videos on KZbin. There are some notable hammer vids out there. :)

Yar. Shell it. Stay on the left , as near to the foot as possible and spam shells. :D Do the evade+reload thing. Get ESP. It helps a lot since u might accidentally hit Fatty and bounce.

Hey Shimmer what do you recommend for when HR6 White Fatalis goes into armor mode? Name G-Ranked Weapons if you like. I'm not bombing him though, I don't have Alchemy or Bombstrength up so it wouldn't work.

2 questions. i have the full plum hermitaur set so i have guts and guard+, but i thought guts was like adrenaline... what does guts do? give u a second chance at life? also, i noticed wen i was teamin up against fatalis that wen he goes to the tower, there is not safespot to hide from his lighting like in MHF2, did they remove the safespots in Unite/2ndG? oh n cool im in the vid discription woo!

:D Guts is not adrenaline sadly. But if ur HP is above 50 ( I think ) , and u get hit by a killing blow , u'l be reduced to minimal health instead ! Yeah second chance. :D Not really sure about them safe spots. But u can guard with a GL. :P
