For Crimson, it's actually a good choice to pick a GL with the highest possible shelling level, like the Corn GL. But for Black, it is more advisable to use something more conventional. Still, yes, you can kill Black with Corn GL, takes a bit longer tho'~

Not much difference except white tends to summon more lightning instead of doing the slam + drag move. So more openings for shells. GC should work just as well as any other GLs. :D

@AndyThePlayer99 Yup, you can kill it with the Popcorn GL, but it's going to take longer since it's more efficient to simply whack its head, but still, it's possible. :] imo, Bow + Rajang G is a decent set to kill Fatty with, especially with breaking the wings, but I find GLs to be faster. =)

@roscalloMOVIES You should try and get the shakalaka bowgun because it has rapid fire dragon shots and for armor I would say any set with adrenaline +2.

Owh. It's the upgraded version of Dark GL. :) I think I may have Felyne Gunpowder activated , since that skill gives a LBB+ instead of a plain LBB whenever u place one. Also. Hi GarugaKaruga ! ^_^

@demigoddamit Takes 2 rounds. It's impossible to kill a Black Fatalis in one round unless you have more than one person doing the quest, or it's the Downloaded Black Fatalis (1/2 HP). And yes, you can repel it, but that only applies to the Unlocked Black Fatalis. =)

Actually, if you have seen the video, you don't need ESP for Black Fatalis. Just jab the face instead of the legs and u'l repel/kill it in no time. :)

well...im currently hr6 and suddenly this quest pops out...1st try with hunter's set u (full) and rajang barrage mod lvl 5....well basically...he burns me to crisp...2nd try with ceanataur set u (full) and gun chariot....still getting roasted...in despair i search in the great youtube and VOILA....found this guide...thanks man..good guide. I still need more practice though...took me 45min just to make this guy flee... even fainted 2 times...s**t

Nice guide, i can't seem to kill it somehow =/ The first time i fought this thing i broke his horn 1 time, and scarred his belly... then he fled at the 25 min mark... and when i fought him for the second time he didn't fleed at all, i couldn't get pass 40 mins though -.-

Hammering Fatty eh? I would suggest hammering the feet as it idles around, but take care not to get tackled by its snap+drag move. Also, when it lands, try going for the head. :)

umm The gunlance is prob the max upgrade of the black fatalis gunlance and the armor is a frankenstein mix of parts akantor helm, red shogun plate, garuga tassest,i think black fata s for the arms and i really dont know what the legs are, garuga again mabye?
