I wasn't particularly happy with how the Hellblade fight went in the other video, so I decided to redo this run while my internet was down for several days.

I know this is old, but do you have any tips for dodging hellblades spin attack with adept? Even practicing with a lower glavenus i cant seem to time it

MangoKip you should listen to the sound it makes just before it does it. It'll get higher and higher just before it stops for a second and then it does the move. You should dodge when you hear the sound stop.

waiting for the sound to stop is a good way to time your dodge, however you can still wait for visual confirmation if you're confident with your reflex, especially if you're doing frame dodge with other styles, just wait till you actually see his tail coming out.

stanfoo this is late but really? Adept you are bad with? Anyways just listen to the sound and when it suddenly stops is when you roll you if you are not using adept or evasion just wait until he lets go and roll if you are fast enough it should work

ZioHex The Powertalons and Armortalons? First you buy a Powercharm or Armorcharm in the shop(I think only during High Rank), and then kill a Deviljho and combine them with Deviljho Talons.

Does tropic hunter include any evasion + skills or are you just that good? Don't be modest either; if you can dodge all that with no evasion skills, you are nothing less than amazing.

Tropic Hunter grants heat resistance and 15 atk, it has no effect on your hunter's evasion capabilities.

How the hell do I get more stamina (the blue bar beside the extract indicator) for my Kinsect? I'm using Astalos' Insect Glaive, and I'm going for a balanced build. Everything is at level 6 right now, but every time I send out the Kinsect, it still uses up the entire bar.

also how much damge do crits do is it like for example 50% affinity does 50 more damage or what does it do?

If you have 100% affinity you will get a direct 25% increase to true raw on every attack you deal as long as they are done while you have 100% affinity. If you have 50% affinity you can imagine that half of the time you would do 25% more damage so in other words you would have a 12.5% direct increase in damage to every attack that is dealt while you have 50% affinity. Hope I helped!

the storms collide ninja did a pretty good job explaining, but to sgiw the math to what he said, your affinity is your chance to get a critical hit. when you get a critical hit, it deals 1.25 damage (1.4 with crit boost) (negative affinity is a chance to score a weak hit at .75 damage)
