When Monster Hunter World gets released people would really appreciate these kinds of guides, so I really encourage you to continue until then (or even wait until then, depends on you). In Gen you can disregard everything with Adept and Evasion arts even if you're new to the game but this is still a great video. You go into detail and you add some humor as well. Seeing how gaijin hunter got so recognized for his mediocre weapon tutorials that don't touch about a single detail you could become much bigger when MonHun gets his difficulty back. Keep it up :)

WOW. this is literally the best step by step, move by move, in depth monster guide ever seen!!! (along with your Rajang one!!!) I've seen a FEW other monster guides out there, but your the only one that goes over the monster's moves IN DEPTH and takes a realistic approach to hunting!!!! you should, I mean NEED to also cover other "problem" monsters like kirin, zinogre, and maybe the deviants as well!!!! I main prowler and tend to be afraid of this guy......but now ur vid has taught me that I need to focus my attacks more and get even better at dodging!!!!

Another amazing guide, equal parts perfect information and hilarious humor. You forgot to mention that Jho's body slam can often just be walked through! Most Jhos are big enough to just casually stroll under their hip check, especially G rank size. There's a little triangle of open space you can just walk through.

Eon Fontes-May thanks! and yes I was gonna mention that but it's pretty inconsistent with how small the Gen Deviljhos can be, sometimes the belly or leg can still clip you. You can still do it with some jhos or hyper but I think it'll be a more reliable tactic in XX :)

I've been playing Monster Hunter for a few years now, but most of what I do is just fight the monster enough times until I can instinctually tell everything they do, so it's really nice to have clear guidelines like these. I always bring one of each type of trap meat. But if that graph is correct, you can successfully poison Deviljho up to three times with poisoned meats.

I have two more tips to add. If you're using a cutting weapon, try to cleave that tail off, it makes his tail based attacks so short ranged that he practically loses those attacks. Another tip is, for the quest Bedevil a Deviljho, to use Gammoth armor, as it has Tremor Res, Polar Hunter and you can even get Partbreaker on it.

Dude, I've watched a lot of monster hunter videos and guides since getting into the series with World, and then jumping headfirst into Generations on my 3DS that was gathering dust. Don't get me wrong, Arekkz and gaijinhunter are great and their volume is impressive... but you my good man... never surrender to the siren song of the KZbin algorithm. It might not have lead me to your channel first, but now that I'm here-- you've got a new liker\commenter\subscriber for the foreseeable future. I also know how fucking annoying editing a video like this must be. Changing and syncing music to fit new scenes\jokes. Comedic timing on sound effects. Relevant inside jokes, as well as memes eferences that appeal to the broader Japanese gaming audience. Thoughtful analysis and logical information flow. Hell, even flavor scenes ft. your hunter dancing and shit? This video might be a year old, and the rest of your content could be total garbage. I might just be typing into an endless midnight void that will never hear my words. Doesn't matter. Your content deserves respect.

Marnissi Marwane yeah people are so stupid on multiplayer even when on a capture quest for god Saks people need to read the monster's movement and look for signs of weakness like drooling if it stumbles when walking or limping for all signs of it getting weak and near death

I never fought a Deviljho and freaked the F*** out when it burst on the scene when fighting a Zam. I feel pretty confident going into a solo hunt for this guy after this video. Deviljho's hip check is actually the first move I learned to consistently without e+ in MH. The hitbox for it pretty much starts and stops when you'd expect and conforms almost perfectly to its body, so unlike with most monsters, just doing what came naturally (dodging through the thinnest part of his body) worked the first time.

Side comment for anyone facing hyper jho, just remember that hyper monsters don't get exhausted and therefore the meats will have no effect. It took me a couple hunts to realize this, but I still see a lot of hunters putting down meats during hyper jho quests

Adamant Seeds are a great option for removing the defense down, it's not really meant for speed hunts but pack them for casual hunts

Anytime I join a room for Jho hunts I grab my Artian Armor and Kirin Bolts. Tremor resist charm and gem in some more Thunder Attack gives you Defense lock (to negate his saliva), speed setup for traps, Thunder Attack +2, Tremor Res, and has pretty decent defense. And it's easy to make, as well as just looks flat out cool.

Nice video, useful for us World > GU types. GU Jho was no problem in village/hub HR, easier than World even because the hitboxes are so nice and tight in GU. But when Hyper Jho and Savage Jho showed up in G4, yeah it got real. This vid has lots of useful tips, thanks!
