It's a good set, the only thing is that you have 35% wasted affinity. Rocking something like expert +2 instead of weakness exploit would be better overall, if you really wanted 100% affinity. Even then, I recall a lot of MH4U builds that used the -15% affinity weapons wouldn't even bother topping it off at 100%. So maybe something like attack up (M) would be better still.

Turbo Jesus crit eye+2 needs a god charm to replace weakness exploit. trust me I've tried to fit in ce2 instead of weakness exploit. Also getting to 100% affinity is still better than 85% affinity. who cares if I go 35% affinity over as long as get to 100% affinity with the charm I have. Please don't forget that weakness exploit will come in handy outside of draw attacks.

I've seen people complain that the narga standard gs set(crit eye 2, crit boost, focus, and weakness exploit) is wasting 5% affinity.

Ah yeah yeah, I was just saying for optimization, that's probably the road you'd want to head down. 15% affinity might not be worth the potential damage boosts of other skills. Your set is definitely good for such an easy to obtain charm.

It took me abit to realize some of these sets have a FastCharge +5,3 Slot Talisman. Looks like it's my lucky day to own one as I do need to get into GS use. And some of these sets can definitely fit the right use.

I ended up making a striker GS set that looks like Saber(Artoria) from Fate. My goal was to make use of the Hero's Talisman skill, but it turned into an art battery. The bright side, I can yell out "Excalibur!" several times in a hunt.

I've found a pretty good hit & run set (which is especially good for aerial style with negative affinity GSs) that gives Crit Draw, Crit Boost, and Quick Sheath: Tiger Jawblade Regios Helm S (Critical Jwl 1) Damascus Mail R Silver Solbraces R Vespoid Tassets S (Critical Jwl 1) Aelucanth Crura S (Critical Jwl 1) Sheathing +5 OO Talisman (Draw Jwl 2) Doing some number crunching, this makes the standard draw attack do (on average) between the damage of a L1 and L2 aerial charge. If you do the vault into a draw charge, however, it gives ~130 extra base damage over the normal aerial charge (~180 for guild style). Since aerial charges are super fast, you don't need Focus at all, and (correct me if I'm wrong) I think that offensive hunter arts used from sheathed get the benefits of Crit Draw (and by extension, Crit Boost).

Full Esurient R with Focus+5 OOO and gems can give you AuS, S+1, Focus, Crit Draw. No weapon slots needed. You can swap the helm part with Hayabusa for CE+1 instead of AuS. I use this on my Toad Bereaver

KateTod It is, such as if you want to exploit a Monster that constantly attack with tremors. Or if you want to hit it even if it's roaring. It just depends on what monster you're fighting. It doesn't mean they're rendered useless, it is just made for specific monsters.

Like i've a fun set which has Criteye 2/Critele/ele+/Focus, or: sharpness2/stamina recovery+/Airborne/Mounting Master, which is just good with arial-style. Ss long as you have focus in your sets its quite powerfull with gs so...yeah, a top 5 gs set would be great, there are some sets in the video which Leverage out each other. Thats what i mean^^ not that the sets are bullshit. But what ever, in the end every skill is optional in MH, thats why i love it so much and if i wanna go naked against five-kings i do that :D @Cullan, yeah just the charm is such a pain to get :$

Shin Mana The Bludgeoner sets are about 5% weaker than their white competitors but they're still usable and fun to play with since you never see anybody use them

it's the Hellblade GS. The difference is the glowing effect which I can't reproduce since it's generated by Capcom's engine. I work with PNGs, so no glowing, sadly.

How are these the "Top" ones? Besides 10 which is almost great and 14 and 15 which are pretty good but have low defense, all others are about average... Also, depending on the charms these sets can all become even better! Currently I'm going with either of these two depending on what I'm up against: Full Grimclaw armor with +5 Focus +8 Punish Draw OOO charm getting all the armor/charm skills with a 3 slot weapon (best one I have right now for this is Vulcamagnon) or Full Grimclaw set again but with +6 Sheathing +8 Punishing Draw OOO that gets me all the armor/charm skills with a 2 slot weapon (eg: Rogue Sedition or Alatreon Revolution) Sets like that are just plain good, better than most in your list, but still not anywhere near what's best if you get lucky with great charms and go through all possible armors...

What I'm trying to say is that it's possible to have so much better ones, like full Ancient set with a Focus +5 OOO charm and a 1 slot weapon gets you such a high DPS it's ridiculous, yet no mention of it anywhere! And you don't have to cheat to get good charms, I just did about 200 charm runs and got tons of great ones!

There is a difference between good charms and God charms. The charms used in this video are good ones, and they can be obtained relatively easily. On the other hand the charms you are talking about are Perfect ones, and they are almost impossible to get. In every MH game I've played I've spent many, many hours doing charm farming, and I think I've get 2 or 3 perfect charms at most. Maybe it's just me and I have a terrible luck, who knows... Yes, you're right. It's possible to make better sets than the ones listed in this video. But, what's the point of showcasing sets that almost nobody is able to make? Maybe the members of TDS don't even have these god charms. If you are complaining about the title, I suppose they could change it to "Top 15 Great Swords Sets that can be built with reasonable charms"

I've gotten those two and a Reload Speed +4 Haphazard +10 OO- as far as perfect/awesome charms go in all my runs, but besides the one I mentioned the best Focus charm right after that one I've gotten in the game is just +3 O-- one, so you aren't the only unlucky one there...

Question. You know how when you're doing a delivery quest and some of the paths suddenly becomes inaccessible due to a giant boulder blocking the way? What would happen if your friends stay in each one of the paths that're supposed to be closed off while you gather the stuff?
