Maybe after I get a new hunting horn or maybe i'll try to do that live. But so far this hunt was the hardest hunt i've ever done in this game period lol.

Yeah definitely from my experience Ex bolt is hands down the 3rd hardest hunt out of the 18 deviants. In my opinion the only two that are harder than bolt would be EX Bloodbath and Crystal beard.

Congrats on the solo clear! EX Boltreaver was the first EX Deviant I took on, albeit I wasn't solo. I ended up using the GX White Fatalis armor set + Ahtal-Ka IG, eating for Thunder res and Insurance, myself. This fight is *still* among my absolute favorites!

Mr uno if your fighting more exs I highly recommend the skill fortify because for 10 points it gives you large attac and defence after 2 faints and with ex’s you’ll never not want this because if you never use it you win and if you die it’s just an excuse to do more damage and take less next life

No, please no. It sounds super cool on paper but remember the Apex monster dont have armor or weapons in Rise. This could change in Sunbreak who knows but on the off chance the dont give them armor and weapons I dont want them to sully Boltreaver like that.

Congrats on the EX kill! Boltreaver and all the other deviant armor sets are terrible compared to proper mixed sets, then the extra thunder resistance really does not help as much as we all would like it to. If you add sharpness and affinity skills you could easily lower your time significantly.

I disagree, Boltreaver's set is only bad if you're not running Aerial imo. That set easily gives me 100% affinity, using the Boltreaver IG + Grancathar, and the Sharpness +1 isn't bad to have around, either.

I just used the set only for the thunder resistance and it came with critical boost. The damage he does was nuts for how much I get hit by him 😅
