MHGU: G3 Astalos

Started playing GU again a few days ago. Could do this exact matchup in Sunbreak but I like GU more lol. Impact press isn’t optimal but it’s fun, Fatty hammer with spinning meteor is surely better if you’re going full tryhard. Guild style with Gore hammer and earplugs Is really good too.
Have some free time again, maybe I’ll start doing runs again. Also some other games I wanna play too tho 😊

Yeah been pretty busy working/parenting/going to gym/other stuff. Haven’t been gaming much. Have a bit more free time again though. Maybe one day I’ll try to speedrun an actual hard monster lol 😝

Coming from Rise with Courage Hammer Main, hunter's review this style is hard and difficult to maintain cahrge but the experience I gained from Rise made me use Valor Hammer indefinitely. What a great run!

Lol!! That would be so sick. I remember I used to watch Olay’s runs in World and he would use a big Olay soap bottle for his GS runs 😂. I don’t think the modding scene in GU has that kind of stuff though?

I love Impact Press. Have you ever tried the II version for faster activation? The little explosions are the same, what the upgrades do is increase uptime

I haven’t but maybe I should! Either way I’m sure spinning meteor or readiness would get a faster time. I’ll try it for fun tho
