Question for you. You have mentioned numerous times the need to clean the scales off the tip of the barb. Why?
@chrishoda42876 ай бұрын
To make sure you get a get hook set. The scale on the hook will prevent you from hooking the fish.

Which pier is this?
@chrisgautreau52486 ай бұрын
Looks like the Port Sulphur pier based on the lights in the background, but I could be wrong.

The stupidity of the new regs at work
@inshorewilly40596 ай бұрын
Yall in louisiana are spoiled with fishing regs. In florida you can only keep one 18”-27” redfish per day and trout only three 15”-19” per day. Be happy with what yall got now. They change regs for a reason.

@@josephmacaluso9774 how are the new regs in louisiana stupid??? Lol
@almightyboner6 ай бұрын
@@inshorewilly4059dude we have a better fishery than you. Ever heard of the Mississippi? We have no shortage of bull reds here.
@josephmacaluso97746 ай бұрын
@@inshorewilly4059 simple, it was a panic based on shoddy data. Louisiana had two awful years due to hurricanes for juvenile reds in 2020 and 2021. The last two have been good and now numbers are going back up. That had nothing to do with regs but nature. The idea that we must do something at everything is dumb.

I love u mark and yes it's freaking hot . I live in marrero about 5 minutes of where u are . Stop fishing the same old spots . It's boring . I hardly care to watch u any more . I've been fishing the river over fifty years. . I know how expensive it can get . Snags . Line hooks sinkers. Bait. Etc. stop freaking fishing in ditches . And throw away that Japan fly fishing crap . Just to make a video. Your neighbor.
