I think these species should be given a powerhead current so they can swim in them if they choose. I bet they would look stunning in a flowing river setup.

Mine have been fine with a sponge filter but it would interesting to see them in that set up

I just received 8 of these and I love them. Unfortunately I received them as Ameca Splenden and told that they were endangered.

Ameca Splendens are cool as well. Most goodeids are endangered in the wild.
