You need Guard Inc to block the blast but it still hurts. Guard+ affects your stamina loss, push back, and overflow damage while Guard Inc lets you block beam and gass attacks.

to activate a skill you need to get at least 10 points in that skill. Some skills change at 15 or 20 points...like Earplug, at 10 it is Low Grade earplug but at 15 it is High Grade Earplug.
