I’m so glad you’re still active with sun break content. I’ve just been getting into the game. I stopped playing shortly after launch because I wanted to wait for all the updates to release and enjoy all the content at once. I’d love to see a updated lance build if possible

Awesome Video! My shield spread build is almost exactly the same as yours haha. I will say, I think the Vellhana HBG is still a much better choice for the shield build. Against fast monsters, the extra 1/2 second while reloading often gets you hit because you can’t guard while reloading and I like that the velkhana hbg requires less level 1 decos

Yeah, I often run the Velkhana HBG on the Shield Build aswell😊 The only realy reason why the Garangolm HBG ends up winning here, is that we have enough Slots to fit all the Lv 1 Decos & the difference in ATK is quite significant. So much so, that the slower reload is compensated for. After using it for a while, the faster monsters are no problem at all anymore either. But the Velkhana HBG is definitely the more comfertable option, in terms of the Weapon by itself for sure👍🏽

buddy big thanks for your videos of builds , i find making a build for this game harder than doing for mh world . I saw the other videos of the heavy bowgun builds . But would u have one for stick+cluster or silicing build ? or fuck them , they arent good ?

Glad it was helpfull ^_^ Making Builds for MHRise/Sunbreak is definitely harder than in MHWorld/Iceborne, due to all of the new Skills and extra mechanics to take into acount. I'm messing around with Sticky/Cluster/Slicing a bit at the moment, and to be honest, those Ammo types are in kind of a weird place now.. They're defenitely not bad, but we can deal just as much, or more damage with other Ammo types. Sticky/Cluster/Slicing are more for certain situations now. I might still make a Build for them if interest in that topic is large enough :)

I understand the essence of the game: berserk + strife + mail of hellfire. But I doubt the choice of weapons. Players set records using a bow. But I think double blades can compete. They deal more blows per unit of time. Maybe I'm wrong.

Hello I have a build with 114 more damage than your first build, I did 103 - 101 to rathian's head, meanwhile you did a lot more, like 120 how? I have the garangolm heavybowgun that has more damage and dereliction and resentment giving me even more damage. How are you doing more damage than me?

Hey there 🖐🏽This will be impossible to answer without knowing what exactly your skills are. Since there is no way to do the math without that😄 We can figure out why you're doing less damage if we take a look at everything 👍🏽But i'll definitely need more information to tell where the difference in damage is coming from^^

I'm looking at a Sticky Build at the moment, but Cluster is kinda unlikely.. It's not very good in Sunbreak to be honest. Atleast from what i've seen so far.

@@YokaiNox just some random thoughts, Antique Machina with Teo Soul using Sticky, Cluster and Wyvern. Skills. Embolden, Shock Absorber, SpareShot, Artillery, Slugger, AmmoUp, TuneUp… and that one skill that makes WyvernShot faster (i think)? Dno just random thoughts, i havent been able to put it in an optimal build yet. Perhaps you can 😇 Ohh and ofc, eat for Bombardier

How good is Normal HBG and LBG in MHRise Sunbreak? So far, I only see Spread and Pierce builds but never for Normal Ammo.

It's "okay" would be the most accurate statement i think 😄Similar to previous MH Titles Pierce & Spread just have higher overall Damage potential. And since it's quite easy to get used to the Pierce/Spread playstyle, there is pretty much no reason to use Normal insted. If you still want to use it, any Pierce/Spread can also be used with Normal, by just switching out the Pierce/Spread Up Skill for Normal Up.

These are the parts: - Head: Lunagaron X - Chest: Rakna X - Arms: Rathalos X - Waist: Rakna X or Rathalos X - Legs: Ingot X //Talisman: Weakness Exploit 2 or 3 Slots: 2-2-0 or better// //Main Skills to go for: - Weakness Exploit Lv 3 - Spread up Lv 3 - Critical Eye Lv 7 - Critboost (as high as possible) - Recoild/Reload as much as your chose gun requires. - ATK boost (get it up to Lv 4 if you can. Otherwise, choose any other Arms & drop ATK Boost completely for now) //Gun choices: Garangolm or Magnamalo

Where are the extra 4 and 2 slot to fit all of the decos? I need another 4 and a 2 to fit the EvEx 2 and the Coal. Actually I don’t care about the slot for Coal because that’s an unnecessary skill.

If you're missing Slots, check the Augment section for that Build, to see if you might have missed a Slot upgrade or something.

I rolled all the same slots and what not. I just noticed there was some overlay where you had 2 listed decos to use, that don’t have available slots for them.

​@@shallowglaive7892 You're talking about the 1st Build right ? I'm super confused right now because you're the only one who's had this Slot issue so far. You shouldnt have to choose between any of the Decos, they all fit in. There has to be something else off here. What Talisman are you using ?

@@ygoralisson6323 That's gonna be a bit tricky, since you cant get the Embolden Skill untill you hit MR 10. But you will still be able to make something similar. What's your current best Talisman to use ? (So i know what to work with here^^)

Nope, you wont need Spread 3 & +4 Decos in that case. You'll only need them if you use one of the alternative Talismans i mentioned. For example if you're using a Ammo Up 3 or Peak Performance 3 Talisman insted.

Ok .... i need help, I did recreate the Armor build almost 1:1, the only difference is that i use Golclops HBG since it has more slots and more damage. The Problem is that i have >613< total ATTACK on my gun and im between 90-100% affinity.... and somehow im nowhere near the damage the @Yokai Nox does in the video... my uncharged attack does like 60x5 and charged attacked like 100x5 sometimes 130 or 149x5. I utterly confused, how does that not more damage ? In the training-room, the headshots dealing 240x5 and body-shots 150x5. for real what do i wrong ? Has the the Valkhana HBG has some secret damage or has the Glclops some negatives i don't see ? It makes no sense.

It has more raw dmg but I think u might no be getting the buffs the correct way I have the same question after u found out how to get all my buff I was doing around the same dmg as he shows

@@Coraza17 i mean i currently only missing Bloodlust-Lv1 (because i rolled it out) and Burst-LV1 but that can impossible make a difference of 50% damage output. By the way, how does Yokai Nox have Bloodlust in his build, but it does not drain his Health ?

No worries, we'll figure out what you're missing, or what's going wrong for you 👍🏽 First about your other questions on Bloodlust: You can actually see my Health draining in the Video lol. It's just that i'm attacking so frequently, that my Health keeps regenerating, due to the Bloodrite Skill in the Build. That's why we can barely see the Health going down at all. Now to figure out what's going wrong for you we'll have to go over a few basic questions first: - Is your HBG using Powerbarrel ? - Is your Build still using Coalesence, even though you dont have Bloodlust ? (because if so, Coalesnence is nearly useless, and you're automatically loosing +12 ATK right there) - How good is your uptime on Peak Performance ? Since that's another +20 ATK. - What we're you fighting when you saw those numbers ? (Training Room stuff excludet) - Did you grab any enviromental boosts or buffers on the way to the monster ? Because i definitely always pick up the ATK+ Butterfly in the area there. (- Burst will make about another +8 ATK difference across the Board, but missing that isnt a big deal.) (- If you're bringing a Palico with the Powerdrum, that's another small boost for 2.5 min whenever they use it.) There's no special effect or hidden ability on the Velkhana HBG. It's only used for the walking reload & better reload speed here, over the Golclops.
