【MHR Sunbreak】PC LVL 100 Afflicted Zinogre TA Rules + Augs ¤

Wanted to do a multi monster lvl 100 afflicted quest to show off Gold Rathians lbg while using spread 3. Few things to mention about lvl 100 quests is reduced time quests actually reduces hp of monsters vs a quest with standard 50 mins time. Monster will generally have around the same hp as normal at lowest hp rolls for each scenario if you have 25 min quests. I didnt check to see what the HP is for the monsters on this quest.

Id say its very good but its still kind of high maintenance. Definitely stronger than gais if needing range weaker otherwise

@@mailbg9704TL;DR they're close enough that you won't be losing too much going goldian but it's still suboptimal did some mathing, gais should win raw dps almost every time, 30% affinity doesn't beat out 50 more raw, this is assuming same augments and the only difference is that goldian gets the 5% species exploit and gais uses kush for affinity which is suboptimal anyway (just so they both have 100% affinity for comfort) the difference is only 7.5 raw pre crit though and goldian doesn't rely on max might to reach the 100% affinity like gais does so it's more comfortable there however we're talking 2 less ammo per clip than gais which is a huge difference across a hunt, therefore i'd consider gais to be best spread lbg for general usage and speedrunning, however you aren't losing a massive amount of damage running goldian and maybe the comfort from it is preferable EDIT: forgot to mention you could run critical firepower on goldian without suppressor and tune up which might be better dps

It is better dps go look lol gais doesnt even come close when it comes to long range its only better at close ranges and even then its like 4 dmg more per tick over rathian. Not including species which you could technically run with gais using maxed rolls

@@mailbg9704 That reads a little bit goofy but I follow what you’re saying and that you have the flexibility to move in an out and stay at 100% affinity whereas with guys you need to be standing still for a moment before you even hit 100, so for a hunt like this for your constantly moving you’re really missing out on a good 30% crit, I haven’t built for Gouldian yet but it’s on my list of things to do as it does look very promising

It’s one of those marathon anomalies investigations where you have to kill 3 targets. Afflicted usually comes out after the first target is downed.

Since when lbg have the stupid power of spread bow? without spending stamina and no charge requirement... And yet lots of long word haters scream out counter/helm break too OP :) *stare at counter of Swaxe/GS

At endgame range weapons was always op in MH games especially in World and Rise which allows u to restock ammo at camps but the can be the most boring to play after a while. Yes at first it draws you to play them over and over, see the huge amount of damage you doing but in the of the day all you do is holding a button like FPS. People before Sunbreak said LS counters were OP, in a sense they were compare to other close combat weapons but how many often did you see people take the end game quests with LBG, HBG and bows rather with LS especially the emergency events? Very few times and because LS counters maybe be OP but they still require skill and have knowledge of monster moves to pull them off they are not spamable. I feel back in Rise players used the end game range weapons builds not because they were fun but mostly cause they were the ez way to beat the quest, in Subreak i barely see them anymore due the close combat weapons are more than valid now and super fun to play and i think the majority of players learn how to play better now and test their skills even if that cost them 2-3 fails on quests. 🌀well thats my opinion anyway and english is not my native language🌀 also i like emotes 🪐☄🔥🦍

In base Rise, LS is top tier, beside the other ranged weapon, i agree, not really about counter and helmbreak too high ( i tried it alot, same build with peppo-TDS and other LS users, EXCEPT Dragonheart of Valtrax build, Rarely i got over 100 damage number pop out for each counter), it just too weak for other melee weapon, especially Lance, gunlace, Swaxe, GS and IG. (i watch Yuki- DB user, not using Dragonheart in set, but hey, the result not that bad as above weapons I mentioned). At end game quests (emergencies quests) of base Rise, mostly i saw bow and Ls speedruns. The others? not much. I always watch some Speed runner of bow users (Tidus69, L1ght, ...) , ELIXIR MH team, Hunter Domain team uses ranged weapons mostly and alot NEW SPEEDRUNNERs try to show off their runs using mostly bow, HBG and LS, sometimes i saw GS, SWaxe, hammer too but few. Until now, Sunbreak is out. Capcom fix damage of all weapon, glad to see they buffed Lance, GS and others. Yup, abit sad about counter/helmbreak of my boy LS :( . But God dammit, now we have new ridiculous Counter of Swaxe (damage high just like LS counter the day before they screamed out), and the immotal stand still counter of GS (bruh, over 3000 damage each, and that not even dragonheart or heroic something like that. The takle of era is over). AND here we are, Spread HBG/LBG (not just element pierce hbg is still too high, just watch TDS farm Final boss) :V Unbelievable! Valor hbg flashback! ----- that's my personal thoughts after watching lots of speedruns since MH4U to Sunbreaks. And YUP, just like your opinions u mentioned above, ranged weapons always OP in the end, but it's just boring in new world. I prefer old style of lbg/hbg from MHGU, OP but need alot of skills and practices to avoid 1 hit die and aiming/shooting. 🔫🤠

@@baochinhnguyen3221 yes but even with the nerfs on LS in my opinion is even more fun to play than ever with the new skills and skill swap as other other weapons...they all feel valid now. I don't hate range weapons nor i main a weapon since i like using them all but i think the range ones can only keep me up for a quest or two before i change to melee while on one day i would play Lance all day long and other day go CB.

@@baochinhnguyen3221 Also did you ever tried HH build thats its full support? Its such fresh experience, buff and heal everyone from both items and melodies. Feels awesome and even though the whole build have no offensive skills you can still do decent dmg from all the buffs you apply.

if only gold rathian lbg had 10 more raw or better yet gaismagorm lbg had 10 less then there'd be a real competition between the 2 another great run to watch, multiple monsters is always a treat
