Btw if someone wants to try something different than a dps built, try this: I just made a very powerful Support HH weapon but its not for solo hunts due its purpose is buffing and healing.....alot. ⏩ it means i can expand more to the subject if anyone have a question. Gear Deco. Equip to Slots ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Weapon: Sinister Shadestrum || Recovery [1] + Horn Maestro [1] Head: Bishaten Mail S || Free Meal [1] Torso: Bishaten Mail S || Quick Sheath [1] Arms: Hunter's Vambraces S || Quick Sheath [1] Waist: Utsushi Tassets (V) S || Wide-Range [1] Legs: Tigrex Greaves S || Free Meal [1] Talisman Skills: Wide Range Lv2 || Item Prolonger [2] (extra skill + dont really ➡ Punishing Draw Lv1 need it) Skills you need: Free Meal Lv3 Quick Sheath Lv3 Horn Maestro Lv1 Wide-Range Lv5 Item Prolonger Lv3 Speed Eating Lv3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items Pouch: Mega Potion, Lifepowder, Gourmet Fish, Herbal Powder, Herbal Medicine, Dust of Life, Antidote, Deodorant, Godbug (for crafting Potion), Honey (for crafting), Blue Mashroom (for crafting Lifepowder), Energy Drink, Nulberry, Cleanser, Mega Armorskin, Mega Demondrug, Hardshell Powder, Demon Powder, Adamant Seed, Might Seed, Armorcharm, Powercharm, Armotalon, Powertalon. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What weapon can do: Apply Sonic Barrier (immune for 1 hit and its last for 3 seconds), Attack and Defence Up and Health Regen. What skills can do: ⏩ "Wide-Range" allows you all the items above to be able to transfer their effects to team, so you have you have total 58 healing items (aside the First Aid that can you also use) and plus Gourmet Fish can give Health Regen. and can stack with weapons Health Regen. buff. Also have 3 Attack buff items and 3 Defense items that can be combo with weapons Attack and Defence Up for massive team atk and def along with items that can almost heal any status effect. ⏩ "Free Meal" allows you to reuse drinks and food for free with 45% chance (does not work with the Powders cause the are not foods or drinks) ⏩ "Quick Sheath and Speed Eating" a very important combo because you need to act fast when your team is in trouble (note that Potions and some other items heal some % instant while the rest heals overtime fast and if you dodge you and team lose that overtime heal but with Speed Eating you wont need to roll cause it heals faster) ⏩ "Item Prolonger" makes all your buff items last for 50% more time, dont know the exact times for the buff items on this game but on MHGU the Seeds last for 3 min so with the 50% they will last 4.5 min. "Horn Maestro" will allow you to dish a little more dmg with sonic attacks but mostly you need it to apply faster Sonic Barrier. If you manage to read this far congratulations you now know how to make a God like Support build but if you are still in doubt we can play together and see for yourselfs. Friend Code: SW-0606-9394-7600 I forgot to edit the Palico part: all you need is any Fighter cat, the Rousing Roar it can give you 35% affinity and earplugs and if you manage to get the Power Drums skill even better. Another Edit: I had this type of build on MHGU and on that game Wide-Range couldn't transfer Mega Potions to team so i assumed same was for this.... When you look the buffs above your health when you apply all those buff in less of 30-40 sec give me a call 😁

What i learned from all of this : first play melody to buff yourself, punch the monster to get full bar, prepare tripple melody, down the monster, use tripple combo, full bar, zr a, and earth shaker, repeat process until monster is dead. You know i am playing this games for years now and rise is my first time i use hunting horn as my weapon to do the whole run. Before that i used ig, ls, and db. I was always interested in hunting horn and had my own fair share of master rank kills in monhun world with it but i never had the motivation to main it. I started to play rise a couple of days ago and decided to main this weapon now. Most things i knew already but the new things in rise confused me, thats why i watched this video just now and you sir did a wonderful job of explaining the unclear stuff for me.

The Earthshaker is absolutely insane in Rampages under Counter Signal. With the best possible HH in terms of damage (Rampage Agitato S) can do upwards of 4,500 damage total if you connect the first hit on a good weak spot. It's so good, I actually go out of my way to grab extra Wirebugs so I can use it more. Two of those = 1 Splitting Wyvernshot.

The new HH is a buffed hammer: simple as fuck. I miss the complexity of the older HH.
@rendin93383 жыл бұрын
@@Matadurr The new hunting horn has completely lost it's charm for me after maining it for years. The complexity of playing the longer notes and learning the most effective times to perform is what made HH feel like an instrument and is what made it so unique. It was so rewarding to the few who managed to overcome the learning curve of the slow methodical style that it had. Now we have an insanely fast hammer with an autoplay button that occasionally farts out buffs. It's such a shame too since it will most likely never return to how it was, and that's absolutely disheartening after putting in the hundreds of hours of practice trying to perfect all of its unique quirks.
@anonymouswhite79573 жыл бұрын
@@rendin9338 yea! Queueing songs and using the advanced movement in world is very rewarding (idk much abt others mh except for portable 3rd and world). You can also chain up songs if they have the same notes. Not to mention that you actually need to know the MR monster moves to perform a proper combo. Also the encore is good, you can stack up effects/lengthen the duration of the songs. The rise HH is too simplistic, the fast movement is good, but i hope they bring back everything else. And the horn maestro skill has basically become an extra attack speed and boost, why even take away the melody duration up???
@CloudWind06433 жыл бұрын
@@anonymouswhite7957 they took away the melody duration because of how easy it is to shit out songs, I’ve now accepted that we old doot mains will prob never get worldborne HH back, so I’m starting a new save on Rise dedicated to me getting back my love for the doot stick. Normally in every MH game I’ve played, I play the HH until 1000 hunts then I’ll play other weapons, with rise however, I only got to 90 before switching to IG and only playing that for the next 200 hunts before I quit the game because of other problems with Rise itself. I also want to experience what Rise would have been like if it was released as a whole, because maybe that could make the experience better.

Bead of resonance is just so disappointing if you're not running healing melody. I hope Capcom tweaks it for G rank. Maybe it buffs sonic waves, extends sonic barrier, follows you around, or they give us Impact wave back just something so I can run a slightly different play style every once and a while and not feel like I'm not pulling my dps weight in the hunt.

@DraodVideos3 жыл бұрын
Late reply and necro. But heres the reason! Echo slap, the echo wave cant crit at all and the Motion Value aka the damage Value is super low. As for bead. Theres only two songs that work for it. Healing and waves. Plus monsters move alot making bead kinda trash sense it doesnt just make more waved every note you completw for damage but acts as a speaker. They both need buffs.

Bead of Resonance when paired with Echo mode is actually awesome. I use it quite a lot both MP and SP. Spamming Crush attack + Echo + the bead’s shockwave deals great damage Melody Slap is good for Slugger sets. Plus if you how how to chain the back overhead smash into a combo, then it feels like you just got an extra move with Melody slap and can use both
