yah the longer white means you get extended period of dmg, and is nearly on par with flicker, just only losing out in rousing roar match up. also 3 extra slots for stun res is nice too.

PSA: Quick Sheathe Lv3, Wirebug Whisperer Lv3, 3-2-1 slots is a legal talisman, and I don't think you can possibly do better because it gives you the two most mandatory skills for LS and an extra 2-slot decoration.

I will make a 3-2-1 slot version in future videos. just don't expect some super omega on-par maxed stated build to a god talisman, its just not feasible. You're gonna lose stats, it's the reality of the garbage talisman system. in the meantime you can put the skills shown in here, plug in your talisman, and just remove stuff till you get some results to show up: mhrise.wiki-db.com/sim/?hl=en in fact you only go down to atk 4 and max might 2 and you get all the other skills of the budget version, just slightly less attack.

Those are some solid build suggestions! Running evade extender was very fun, but there were some things that were bugging me in the build - the chest piece is kinda meh and i want to put in the wirebug whisperer in a 4 slot. in addition, you lose chain crit from the final boss chest piece and cannot get +7 attack without dropping something essential. now, you may not know this, but there is a gauntlet that can make that sort of build work as it has no crit eye, allowing you to put crit eye on the charm (so you don't get blocked by the wex the chest piece has). i am sure you were trying to get that as well, but the armour unlocks from a sidequest that has you capture a certain monster, so you might not have it yet. in addition, there are also pants that allow you to run attack boost on the charm. i spent way too much time to make it work, but it does indeed work in the end! sadly yt does not let me post the build here, but you should be able to work it out. armour used is luna helm, archfiend chest, hawk gloves, narga coil and hunter greaves with 4-slot wirebug whisperer and attack 3 crit eye 2 on the charm (or vice versa). As you can see, speed sharpen is not possible to run at rank 3, but stun resistance is. Should not be the biggest deal due to large purple on the weapon and the (somewhat limited) availability of whetfish+. having both attack 7 and 1 in chain crit imo makes this build better, even if you lose crit draw and max might. especially chain crit is super underrated as you can trigger it fully just by sakura slash, netting 10 attack and i think 8 element. from sacret sheath you get +5 in both, so that is not too shaby either. ofc, attack 7 on such a good raw weapon gives you quite a bit of raw, i think it was 8 total. with daora soul (even only lvl 1, which you also get from just 1 hit or full lvl from sakua) and cat buff you reach 100% crit on weakspots as well (after first hit, which is no issue for ls).

what is especially great tho, is that you can run a simillar dereliction setup with attack boost 7 as well - just no evade extender and no extra lvl 1 slots. it does come with 2 resentment to make up for it and you can get some use out of the quick eating on the gauntlets for sunfish for hp regen (copium). with lvl 4 or 3 hp regen dango you basically lose no health for it and gain some very signifficant raw boost for it. personally i only run this build rarely since you need to keep up the fish buff and it has no stun resist, which can be annoying in endgame quests if one of those A monsters explodes and insta-stuns you. still if you are looking for damage, this is a good 7-8 % better compared to the standard version. for this build you run rathalos coil and archfiend legs. again, yt does not allow me to post links to the set builder i am using so you will have to fit decos yourself. you should also be able to run different gauntlets, but i do like the speed eating if my hp regen runs out mid-combat. alternative nets you lvl 1 max might instead.

I prefer the Final Black Katana for my raw builds. 320 attack, 5% affinity, tons of purple sharpness, and 30 defense bonus. The defense is just a nice little addition but I like how I don’t have to spec around negative affinity. I also like to swap between all of the endgame elemental longswords, and I have 100% affinity for all builds with my armor setup. If anyone is curious my loadout is Luna helm, archfiend body, barioth arms, rathalos coil, and Ingot greaves. My charm is a Divine talisman with quicksheath 3, punishing draw and a slot I threw Handicraft in. All in all with decos I have crit eye 7, crit boost 3, attack boost 4, wex 3, qs 3, Wirebug 3, speed sharpening 3, windproof 3, (chain crit 1, resentment 1, max might 1, punishing draw 1, and handicraft 1). I’ve definitely been enjoying it so far and I’m actually really loving new LS.

One of my DPS builds that I created and been using is a set that has Mail of Hellfire, Chain Crit, Bloodlust and Coalescence while still doing 100% Crit with the Adamantine Lodestar I believe or the Zweihander. The armor pieces are Arc Helm, Holy/Divine (don't know how it's named lol) Ire chest piece cause it has MM, EE and CC, Barioth Gauntlets, Schorned Magna Waist and Hunter Greaves with AB 3 2-1-1. Been having tons of fun with it while doing big damage.

My only question is at 4:17 what are you using the extra level 1 slot decos for for budget 1? I put in 3 dragon attack because you said dragon attack is good to have for this build. But I think I am reading budget 1 wrong. (My charm is a QS/Power Prolonger 2-1-1)

budget 1 is qs2, 2-2 charm. for the extra 1 slot, it was up to you. stun res 1 is nice to get out of stuns faster. or if you're iai focused, than diversion is good too. if you're putting 3 dragon you likely lost speed sharpening, which isn't a big deal, but i prefer it over bit of dmg. but you can use whetfishes to sharpen and gain the extra dragon if you wanted.

you can't realistically use sac too often without EE, so, it'd be nearly similar, if not exactly. the only other route is only using sacred counters and tempered sheath, losing Wirebug whisperer for something else. i guess you CAN make a pure evade window sac build. but I don't see too much point in that when you can just counter and pick your shots correctly with sac. sac style would work best with the dogs i mentioned, the status build is broken lol

Have you looked into Malo weapons? The weapons have great slots, solid raw, sharpness and some blast to boot. I'm still on my very long MR 100 grind, so I haven't been able to damage test.

well same on my end, I'm close tho, and will make a build around it just cuz its cool lol but idk if blast is that great. pp slows swords down compared to flicker. you have to usually sharpen 2-4 times in a hunt, vs 0-1 with flicker. slots are nice, need 1 more pp but save a bunch of crit. but still a 20 raw difference is hard to catch up without dereliction/mail/bloodlust. and with the meta flickr build, 4 dragon with chain crit is a factor in consideration against dragon weak mons. get like 40 dragon element i think with chain crit lv1.

Since some of the builds are including absolute best charms, why not include the new rarity 10 charms? I found one with 2 levels of chain crit as second skill from the melder the other day, and even if we only include base game skills, charms like 3 quick sheath 3 wirebug whisper 4-2-1 are possible now, that can net a even better build right? (total of 8 level 2 skills on the charm alone)

in comparison this gets much more dmg, since vampire lacks crit boost. then the atk difference as well. but maybe both? this for anomaly hunts, and vampire for normal hunts, since vampire + anomaly is bit overkill for lifesteal.

Because there are mods that let you edit a change to the best possible charm without rise being able to notice, because the change to get a charm like that is like 1 out of 3.5 billion. So people use mods to cheat in a "god" charm because its nearly impossible to get otherwise.

For anyone who wants to learn LS at endgame (like myself) but still use the first build, you can sacrifice 1 quick sheath for stun Res 3 if you slot it right Feels better for me personally, especially against stun heavy monsters

i do miss stun res 3. while quick sheath isn't totally mandatory for sac, i still think its important, especially build 1 which is around mixed style due to chain crit. so you'd better off lose 1 speed sharp, for stun res. or lose speed harp completely for stun 3, and use whetfishes to sharpen.

eventually if you do the delivery/side quest, you unlock "buddy skill lesson" and you can just teach your pets any skill, ANY skill you want. so you don't even have to wast time hunting for a certain pet. really streamlined now. i think its like capture x monster kinda stuff to unlock it, in master rank ofc

Besides the PC guys aren't cheating their using talismans that are "technically" possible to get with the RNG,If I could modify my switch to get AB3,WBW3 321 I'd definitely do it. Now what I wouldn't do is mod something in that is literally cheating like AB7,QS3 333 or anything ridiculous like that,but I'd say with the way Capcom created this system is what's cheating, cheating us out of time and fun

I like how it's not possible to roll a double 2 slot charm or a 3-2-0. It's almost as if the developers know they stuck all the good decorations at level 1 and damn near everything else is just filler.

If you're going to swap you build for the type of monster you're fighting then you shouldnt be making raw builds anyways, make the correct set and go ele. Kushala is a blanket answer just like raw is, that's why we play raw weapons.

Garangolm's sword is also a decent option, the only issue it has is the large amount of blue sharpness it has

the slots are very nice on golms, but blue is pretty far behind to purple, or even white like with darkness within+. % based increases usually give more value at this point. perhaps if they had like lv4 atk decos or something, golms stock can increase.

@@PWARGaming very true, as far element goes i have made some comfy element sets using both narwa and shagaru's longswords, the shagaru build that i use gives me 100% crit on weakpoints, granted shagaru doesn't have a lot of elemental damage compared to MR valstrax and the death stench swords but it works

As a guy who use both Modded god talisman and a self-grinded QS22 Talisman, I lose 3 Level of Attack Boost but I see no different in term of DPS in a multiplayer scenario where monster jumping and spinning all the time. So don't worry that much about budget build or god charm build the different is so little. For Longsword God Talisman helps with DPS but still just a little when it comes to speedrun again not much different but it help. In case you guys are wondering. The speedrun website ban malicious cheating but do allow the use of Legal God charm/fixed legal Spawn/fixed legal Monster HP because it would be impossible to detect. However the website also have a Normal Charm category where player with budget charm can compete and also the Switch category where Switch player can compete but I think Switch category is pointless since people can still use fixed legal Spawn/fixed legal Monster HP hacks and you can't really detect.

actually it is, i can do any build i want without wasting dozens of hours at the meld like i did on switch. the budget versions is there for you guys 4:15 its the exact qs 2-2 charm i used in meta base rise videos without complaints.

@@PWARGaming Yeah, meta build stay very opinion based I think, the time you win by using the valstrax longsword (killing the monster before the sharpness run out) can allow faster kill than this "purple body part destroyer" focused weapon I think, I mean, I say that based on that video "MHR:SB | 爵銀龍 Malzeno 3'50 - 太刀 火事場". But when you know how to play a weapon so well, just picking any rank 10 weapon will be enough to win safely. The talisman is the icing on the cake I think, I personally always use the shagaru magala LS because it look cool.

i have the budget version for you specifically tho. that's literally what i would use if I was on switch for example. See 4:15 look at the stats. that's no cheat talisman. obtainable, and still strong. its the best you can get with such a charm.

@@PWARGaming You should name the budget set as META Sets because most of the players does not use god charm which is modded/cheat to get it. Getting a charm that is cheated I dont consider it as META.

its 1 in x million chance. they EXIST within the means of the game, but good luck getting them in other words. its a pointless rng they put in the game for no reason, as if it would be any possible for players to obtain them through effort or time.
