@@Nikolai08478 Simply put, people hate the LS because of how good it is in comparison to their own main weapons and also how in the old days having LS users in your online session was problematic since they would stagger everyone else while they were attacking the monsters.

@@eduusantander5514 Well, I don‘t have any expierience in Online Multiplayer in GU only in Risebreak and Worldborne, but in Iceborne, its rarely the Longsword player thats flinching me to death, more the Dual Blades user that is everywere because he is so quick. But I guess I‘m both of them. Longsword is an absolutely overpowered weapon, don‘t get me wrong, but I have faster times in quests when I use Elemental Dual Blades, does anyone hate Elemental Dual Blades because they are that good? No! Because there are 10% less dual blades users and it‘s always marked as the easy beginner weapon that only does OK damage. I understand that people don‘t like Longsword because of it‘s flinching, but not because it‘s so OP, every weapon in Sunbreak got a Counter or a massive Hyperarmor silkbind move, and with some weapons you can really go nuts, like the Dual Baldes counter, you don‘t have to time anything, just click shrouded vault and your good!
