@@ThatGuy-rh4uu i don’t have good dragon or water build yet, however if you like high risk builds you can try this for ice. imgur.com/a/fy8X2KQ The synergy between heroics, vigilance, and vengeful ice drill (which does more dmg as your hp is low) makes it a very high dps build.) it shreds rajang it’s not even funny

For you random co-op SR players: slap a crit-kin and you'll get lots of kinship even if the monster is never attacking you with a HtH. This is the most consistent way too get kinship Tidus found for me: use bazel armor+ weak point/critical talisman. And it's max damage. Else the rajang armor with a crit-kin (and maybe all out). Don't forget to use a super whetstone!

I think this build is more practical than you think since monstie can't die from winning head to head but took damage,maybe it'll have problem with monster that use special attack or attack twice(specifically enraged mizu) but we have other 5 monstie to tank it

Yea I mean I like it, I use it sometimes. But outside of elder’s lair it’s not really efficient since ai in expedition always heal you and monster don’t do enough dmg to proc heroixs often. But I do like heroics build myself

Really informative video as always thanks! I have a few questions though. I'm trying to make a Rajang build where basically the goal is max DPS. The core of the build: Passives: Heroics Vigilance Critical Eye Thunder Boost Attacks: Plasma Pressure (high crit) Vengeful Thunder (damage boost on low HP) White Shadow (to dodge non-targeted attacks or 2 attacks when enraged) A speed move (probably Thunderfist) The idea is pretty simple. Stay under 50% HP, win head-to-heads or do double attacks to not die and use White Shadow when it's using a non-targeted attack or multiple attacks the same turn. The questions: - You say you don't recommend Vigilance because you have to stay on low HP, but does this build I mentioned theoretically have the most possible DPS? - Is there any information on how much damage the Synchronize gene adds? - Are there other genes I forget that would increase DPS? - Would I do more damage when using double attacks or when riding and winning head-to-heads? I have no idea how double attack damage is calculated. I know winning a head-to-head is a 40% damage boost if I'm correct. - Is there any information on how much the low HP damage boost for Vengeful Thunder is? - Do you know if White Shadow has some sort of priority? If you get hit before using it that would basically be worthless. In that case I might do this build on Kirin since he has 13 speed. Sorry for the spam of questions, but hopefully you can answer them :)

This sounds like a very good build and i have a similar build. I said i don't recommend vigilance because it's impractical, but i ran numbers for it and it has the highest average damage of most recent builds i've tried. Synchronize adds 80 to double attacks. However, double attacks in my experience aren't the best for optimal damage. The way they are calculated is: take your monstie damage and your rider damage and mutliply by 1.5. BUT it can't crit, head to head bonus doesn't count and your rider can't use weapon skills. So i would stick to head to heads. Unfortunately i have not been able to find accurately how much VF does, but it's a high bonus at low health, all i know. I don't know if white shadow has some kind of priorty, however, i've been using heroics build a ton and you usually don't even need it if you know the matchups well and manage your speed correclty to counter double attacks. Hope it helps!

@@LyonOlivier69 Thanks for the answers! I didn't know double attacks can't crit, that's a huge dealbreaker then haha. I will test the White Shadow priority question today when I'm done with work. Also for this build, would you prefer the slightly higher crit chance of Kirin or the higher base damage of Rajang? I just like Rajang more and his kinship skill is so awesome! By the way, is there a way to make this build work against enemies like Fatalis who spam 2 attacks per turn, every turn? I can't really think of anything. I just beat him in the Special Elder's Lair yesterday and only managed to do it by riding a full tank Nergigante and using recovery charm and Immunizers. Took me 50 turns lol, longest battle I've had so far. Love that build by the way, he just tanks everything it's insane.

@@IIIDzire And to answer your previous comment, I would jsut stick to rajang if you like him better. The stat difference isn't big enough to force yourself on Kirin. And rajang does a bit more damage too so there's that. I don't think this would work at all on fatalis. Especially since the version that comes out in October (I already tried it) is doing a looot of damage, so you don't want to hang at low health lol

In another video he said he uses Rajang armor. It has Weak Point XL (25% crit chance when using beneficial weapon) and Critical L (13% crit chance), I can't remember the 3rd skill though. He also uses Vicious (called Showdown on talismans) (increased HtH damage) & All-Out (increased skill damage for higher kinship cost) talisman. I also started running this armor and it's amazing. When using a beneficial weapon (which you should) you have 25 + 13 = 38% crit chance. Your weapon crit chance is also added onto this so you crit very often.

That’s correct most of the time I use rajang armor. The third skill is heroics which is an amazing damage skill, but even when it’s not active the double critical chance skill is very good. Dread queen is also a strong option if you plan on using a lot of status, but make sure you have weak point skill on charm

Hellbreaker greatly lowers defense of the monster while Venom queen inflicts noxious poison. My question is does the defense down compensate for the loss of noxious poison and is defense down affected by inflict rate up?

Not really, defense down is quite bad. The defense part of the equation plays a very minor part in the damage equation. So the 15% defense réduction it provides is extremely minimal. It can help with salt in wound upkeep tho…

@@LyonOlivier69 thanks! I’m not as deep into the game as I’d like to be yet . Have been using the status build you uploaded but for some reason salt in the wound only applies to bleed that I can see , and bleed only lasts till the monster gets hit so it’s a pain in the ass .

@@decsmith8919 Salt in the wound applies to any negative status the monster has. So bleed is one yes, but also poison, burn, blast, defense down, crit down, etc...

@@decsmith8919 that’s because bleed doubles the damage on the follow up hit ahah. That’s one of the best status because it just increasz your dmg so much. Even without salt you’ll have similar increases. Salt is a much more modest increase but works on everythign

Good question, in this exemple, you have a 1557 average damage with crit eye if you lose 5% bingo for it, and for merciless you’d have 1543. So damage is close but crit is slightly higher, also doesn’t increase the cost of attacks which is good
