센세...이해가 안되는 부분이 있습니다 화염의 호석 5랩이랑 커강속성강화5강을 했는데 둘이 다른개념인가요? 철벽5랩인데 가드포인트를 쓰면 되는게 아닌가요? 어려운게 너무많습니다;;;

커강이랑 화속증가스킬이랑 따로따로 올라가요 둘다 올리면 되고 철벽은 가드할때 데미지랑 모션 감소시키는데 방패강화 가포가 철벽4 성능만 따라가니까 철벽5면 굳이 20정도 데미지랑 스턴치 넣을거 아님 안써도 됨

Yes, sorta. Charging the blade makes you lose dps at first and has a high chance to miss because of it, and it only truly shows it's value when you use the sword a lot. It will never be your main damage dealer, but looking at how much he used his sword. He would be able to beat his time if he does charge his blade with a similar playstyle. However, the charged axe is a tricky one with elemental damage. Something he clearly didn't go for. 'Elemental Axe' is pretty worth it with the Silver Rathalos gear (4/5) but you drop a LOT of utility to use it. He isn't using that set, neither the Namielle set for 250+ phial damage (x6) on your SAED. So to beat the sharpness loss you are forced to go for the Teostra set dropping some massive damage boost. But keeping your average peaked until the end of the fight. (Teostra set is only really worth it for speedrunning). Another bad point about elemental charge blade (and more so for the axe-mode) is that the damage is heavily bound to the bodypart weak to the element. Meaning, you have little control when you are hitting parts you don't want to hit, that do much less damage. Which can turn a 250+ phial damage into less than a 100, by simply missing the right part. So when going elemental you are kinda forced (for max dps) to choose either Axe mode, or SAED spam. And with the SAED spam, it is literally your job to 'spam' ults for max damage. You will drop using the charged blade, and the charged axe. The only "well rounded" build in Iceborn is making a raw build. It will work perfectly against every single monster, but your average damage is 5-10% lower compared to using specialized sets per monster. Elemental builds are only for 3-star weak monsters, and even then not all of them actually are entirely weak to that element (Zinogre's 3-star ice resistance is a half-lie). Just for the experience alone it is 100% worth it to get the Deep Schnegel II (ice), upgrade and augment it until it's maxed and go face a diablos. You will not believe the damage numbers compared to raw. With the Namielle set your base damage is comparable to raw. But the second you start using SEAD, 250-300 phial damage is not uncommon. With the Silver Rathalos set your charged axe hits will be ~55 damage each. Which means that on top of your 200+250 base axe damage, you can add ~55 damage per charged axe hit + phial damage. Meaning that you essentially do a full 1000-1500 damage in axe mode by just pressing Triangle/Y and Circle/B. This consumes 1 phial per 1000+ damage. The bigger the monster, the better. What is also curious about charge blade elemental damage is that charging the blade is a noticable increase in sword phial damage. Where with raw, it's like a little hamsterbite.
