Still trying out to see how far savage axe can take this monster. I think from now on I should just do wakeup hits instead of flinch shots and also go for heated slime pops before going for AEDs. Although savage axe doesn't hit as hard as a single SAED, u can pop off multiple hits really quickly with the right conditions, but tricky against brachy.

Seeing your run makes me want to use CB again. Been a main CB since MHW came out, switched to LS and SNS, now it's time to remember the feel of using CB! Mind if I ask why you use the Deep Schnegel instead of Safi's ice? Is it because of the phial type? Great run! Keep it up!

I think deep schnegel still ends up having more ice element, it’s really overtuned in all honesty. Its basically Kjarr 2.0

What can i use if i don't hace any safi armor? I just bught this gane like a month ago and i really don't see any other alternative sets for this fight on any video

in my opinion the armor doesnt matter that much as long as you have a decent defense number just add blast res and maybe a defense boost if you're struggling

I know I’m super late but at 4:00 you take damage after an AED but don’t get knocked over. I see your rock steady mantle is off and I don’t see any skills or food skills that would prevent knock back. But clearly that glimmer on your body means something got activated in that moment. What am I missing?

man it's been so long... anyways that attack has low knockback as is and AED/SAED have a bit of knockback protection for smaller hits. You're able to ignore hits that just knock you on your butt with the animation itself, like a built in flinch free lvl 3. You can also eat felyne feet to prevent small knock back.

Should I go for one impact CB build or multiple element CBs? It's my best weapon since 4U but I dropped it in World. Given how annoying this fight is I'll have to make a CB just to beat him but I have no idea where the meta is.

Honestly a single impact charge blade (preferably a safijiva one) is going to be easier to make and use. You can bring it anywhere for anything. Elemental charge blades depend on elemental hitzone values to be superior to Impact, and this can be very situational. So I'd recommend a Safijiva CB with alot of Attack Boost and one Handicraft V upgrade :)

It is worth noting that the savage axe play style is much better for Elemental and SAED is for impact. Personally I'm making multiple elemtal builds because I like the variety and play style but I also do have an impact build with health regen for comfort
