MHW Iceborne ∙ Anti Silver Rathalos Build ∙ Partbreaker Is OP

"What did we hit?" When Silver Rathalos has that flaming glow on it's body, the flame attacks are powered up... But you can dispel it's powered up state by attacking it's head enough. That specific knockdown animation signifies you knocking it out of it's powered up state. I only just learned this a couple days ago, from a random tip at the loading screen!

I don't think a couple of a paralysis procs would make up for the huge damage loss from using a non-Fatalis weapon.

yeah safi aquashot is usually my go to weapon choice when dealing with gold rathian and silver rathalos, with evade reload you pretty much never take damage haha

I know this vid is like 3 years old so you might not see this, but you make me REALLY wanna learn LS. Im very new to the monster hunter world and Im on Alatreon right now for my first time in Iceborne. I think most people farming Silver Rathalos haven‘t killed Fatalis and AT Velkhana...still a good set tho

DG, as an avid long sword user, do you have or would you make a video with actual monster gameplay and coaching foresight slash, avoiding damage, iai slash and all around quality long sword skills? I love the weapon, but I have trouble with foresight and I can’t evade damage to save my life. Literally. Or if anyone can point me in the right direction that’d be great. I’ve watched your recent tutorial, but barrels don’t move and it’s much easier Vs monsters. Great vid tho

Alright... so normally people always FS while holding the joystick forward right? So the FS animation will move backward and then move forward to swing the sword. Learn how to FS in multi directions, always remember that the direction will be opposite to where you move ur joystick! Learning this not only help u reaching the monster to charge that spirits gauge up but also help u in positioning. The amounts of time it save my life is uncountable... And all u have to do with IAI Slash is good at timing btw. This is based on my experience and I’m a gunlancer so Idk if this could help lol

What helped me was learning the monsters move set...they usually telegraph their attacks. Adding a few evasion decorations help. They give a bit of wiggle room.

Wrath of thunder descends from what I’ve been researching. Not sure if it’s different types but I’ve been doing an event quest (I think?) Fiora frostbite or something. Go to camp 15. Crawl out the exit and go left. Collect the frozen foliage. There’s like 3 in the area. Then go down the path and collect more if you’re short. If you get them all from the first 3 plants you finish in like 30 seconds and get at least two decos. I got some good ones last night. Maybe zinogre event has better ones but this one will give you a boost before you try
