I like how they constructed Namielle. In certain positions, its wings form an octopus figure, but when it flies it moves like a stringray. Its head is that of a Hammerhead, and its whiskers are that of a shrimp. Then when it's charged, it resembles a jellyfish. Just beautiful.

Note the electrical buzzing in the background (especially with headphones). Nami's design was heavily influenced by Jellyfish so this subtle buzz adds to the nautical overtones of the theme.

I think the visual design of Velkhana is more appealing, but with the combat aspect included... This one feels the most... right? I dunno, Namielle's fight feels more natural rather than having just a disjointed spear and a cancerous breath spam. (I doubt an animal even a dragon would use a tail as a spear, probably just as a slashing tool)

When I was fighting Namielle for the first time when I was use a hammer with blast effect I thought I have lost that quest by just 1 continues left and about a second left, but I managed to beat em when I was heart pumping fast in that last second and I almost fainted one more time with less amount of potion left. My god that elder dragon was tough and that was the closest battle I ever did in this quest.

I think Velkhana was a great flagship. It's just that during the story, it's literally stated that Velkhana is extremely dangerous, "even by elder dragon standards". I feel like they didn't emphasize its power and superiority enough in the story since we never really see it do anything violent outside of battle. I mean, there was that one scene with the Huntsman, but it was also stated that he has really old equipment.

The skeleton is the same of most Elder Dragons. The main is Kushala, but it's used for a ton of other Elders, like Teostra, Vaal Hazak and Namielle.

if you watch the way the neck behaves as well as the basic attacks, I think vaal's rig is unique to that of teo and kushala, and namielle uses it as well. they generally seem to make the same sweeping patterns with their effluvium and water beams respectively, and the way they charge is similar.

Honestly pretty disappointed in Namielle. I entered the fight blind using a Thunder element LS without knowing it was immune to it and still managed to cut its tail and beat it on first try. I didn't know I can parry a WAVE of water but that made it even easier to just keep slashing away.
