The Palico used the Boombug trap ability on the Flashfly Cage tool. Also the bomb was to remove the red HP to stay in Heroics HP range

How do you persist through the trial and error? I'd love to have a good time posted for some of my favorite Monsters, but i hate the idea of Abandoning Quests! I always see them through... Did you have to shift your mindset, or was the drive always there?

It's frustrating from time to time. There is a lot of patience involved and even more ambition. When I have a goal, I grind for it. Sooner or later you reach the point of no return where you spend so much time on a run that it would be worse if you give up. Then you wasted your time for nothing. For me, I started with Base World and I still have fun. It makes me happy when a strat comes together and everything goes according to plan. It's not for everyone tho. As long as you have fun, you can play it however you want.

if you want an idea of what its like: try solo A ranking an arena quest. it takes alot of resetting and waiting for the monster/hitboxes to do what you want so that the script you thought out works for actual runs its even more difficult because you are not confined in an arena (most of the time), you need to think up and test the builds yourself, and then you need to hope for the palico Ai to be good. this is + the issues above btw

@@phenix2403 Not the same to me, i've done 4 solo Arena Quests with an A rank... Challenge 1 Nerg, Temp Savage Jho, Dodogama and Pukei Pukei. That's different to me, i don't reset, short load times, everything is always the same... I love Arena Quests but none of my friends do 😞 the hard part for me is letting go of the need to finish a Quest, i'm on PS4 and the load times are shocking for regular Quests... Something goes wrong? That's a 3 minute wait!!! I hate that... I guess i'm just not up to it. I just hate the resets, can't bring myself to do it.

Ruiner Nergigante is a good option. Pretty telegraphed moveset. Alatreon is also not a bad pick for the same reason. Brute Tigrex can also be quite good.
