I wonder for how long that all the escape route is gonna be blocked like that. In the past game, Raging Brachydios is only huntable in Ingle Isle where it's just an flat out wide area in volcanic region. Perhaps since Iceborne doesn't have a map like that, either the route blocking gimmick is gonna be permanent until Raging Brachy is dead, or its just for temporary purpose to tense the hunt a little bit.

Raging brachydios was the hardest monster I ever fought, I had a HARD 1st time against it so I never fought it ever again, I almost timed out cuz it was hard to find openings on him, also he was ABSOLUTELY NOT like in this trailer, he basically was brachydios but the explosions came pit faster, now it has crazy range speed etc

Just to make sure I ran 4 quests with Yian Garuga in the Special Arena firing only sleep ammo till the monster passed out once. Yian Garuga has only 1 star to sleep like Rajang No mods: 10 lvl1 sleep rounds 3piece Safi and 2 piece Jho: 8 lvl1 sleep Armor and Sleep 4: 7 lvl1 sleep Mantle with armor set and sleep 4: 6 lvl1 sleep. Also I was using Safi's Drakshot which has Devijho essence Def. They're essentially their base forms but permanently enraged and with extra element and attack patterns on top. So, stronger, but in a Turf War they'd perform the same since they haven't moved up from base Elder-level.

The MH team hated the hunter character and are extremely unlikely to ever be willing to put a playable character in a crossover game again. If they did though, it'd be the palico not the hunter. The hunter isn't supposed to be the face of MH. It's supposed to be the monsters and the felynes.

Honestly though, I buy the optional add-ons in the store mainly to support Capcom, because I can’t believe how great they’ve done with this game. And they just keep delivering.
