Ty. Because of your video I was finally able to kill this thing. I suck with charge blade but in this fight its pretty useful because of the sice of this monster. I used beotodus charged blade and namielle set as it's my favorite set. Best looking. But I don't get this elder dragon gem so I just had these parts: Namielle head. Damaskus chest. Namielle arms and shoes and the last armour is from barioth cause I have no better thing. I also don't have good decorations so the fight was really exhausting. I died 2 times and nearly failed it. I couldn't get the rocks falling on his head and I heard it would do a lot of dmg if it would hit. I was able to escape from his ultimate move with the teleporter 3 times and refreshed all boosts. After 36 min he was finally dead. Ty for this video. With switch axe in the first fight it took 40 min to just get his shell off.

@@SnakeTheBoss13 Oh, but it does exist. Difference is, the cap is *much* higher on weapons with already high element. If a weapon has low to decent element, it's not going to take much for Nami's set bonus to get it to max after slotting in the elemental attack skills.

But the first time I fought him, I just decided to wound the tail n' target that since its a good way to keep up the constant damage, many of his attacks can't reach his tail.

Glider Mantle lasts VERY long and has 2 Level 4 Slots. You can gem in 2 Agitator+ decos, 2 Expert+ etc.

Well savage axe and ultra (saed) are 2 different playstyles. Savage focuses on actually utilizing the ave to deliver consistent dps with small elemental dmg. Ultra gameplay focuses on bursting the target down with large, well, bursts of elemental dmg. At least that's what I've noticed. I used savage with impact CB and ultra with elemental.

No surprise Beo CB takes this one. Really surprised me to see people doing this fight with Impact, as Beo probably still takes it with minimal augments. What I'd like to know, is since much of this fight is hitting tenderized areas with a high affinity build, if crit ele wouldn't possibly see more success here. Less phial damage than Namielle, sure, but it's more than made up by the damage given to sword and axe hits. At least on the training cart, anyway.

Rocksteasy is for setups and rock trap execution with 2x guard decos. Glider lasts a long ass time, and has 2x tier 4 slots for more versatility.

Are you talking about when he charges his sword? On xbone you hold rt and press and hold b. Release b right when the sword fully gets sucked into the shield. This engerizes your sword, making it deal whatever dmg type your CB has on sword swings as well as mind's eye (so ice ele CB sword will deal ice dmg, and impact CB will make your sword able to KO the monster if swung at the head.)

Iceborne has improved the game significantly. There's a ton of new content to enjoy, maybe you'll find something you like. I do recommend you find people to play with in the endgame, as it can be a bit tedious to go through on your own once you've reached MR100.

Depends on monster but best sword is acidic glavenous and you should be seeing if you have artillery at a high level which I have at lvl5 should be around 100-150 per lightning hit and the supercharged axe hit like the hit no the lightning should be around 200-300

It's 30 each time for the elemental augment. Custom augment is 10 each time up to 50 total

You'll have to wait for the Code Red event quest to rotate in one day, but clearing that and Arch Tempered Teostra a few times should net you the layered set for wearing the looks of Dante over your usual armor. Should you be in MR, those two should be really easy for you, as the two quests are HR.

It depends heavily on what weapon you use. CB uses Namielle's set bonus because Power Element Phials scale stupidly high in accordance to your element but cannot crit. Other weapons can make use of either 2 piece Namielle and Velkhana, if their cap is high enough to make use of it, while others use the Silver Rathalos set bonus, True Crit Element, because of the inherent boost they gain from it, like... well, all the weapons that in base game had a higher inherent elemental crit multiplier in base game.

SAED's can't crit, so boosting elemental damage as far as possible is better. Silver rath would boost sword and axe hits, but that's not where he's getting his damage. Silver rath might be better for the savage axe playstyle on smaller monsters though.
