MHW Iceborne: SOLO AT Velkhana. BUDGET GEARS. No weapon augment. No Fatalis/Safi/Alatreon gears.

Solo battle with this painful and annoying Ice dragon.
No weapon augments. My full set up was shown at the last part of the video.
I aim to help the hunters that has limited number of gears and don't have the highly recommended gears.
You don't need meta gears just to slay difficult monsters like this one.
I highlighted some moves here that you can take note to strike and some moves that you can dodge easily.

Do you adjust camera angles manually by the right stick?

@@karlcatacutan7091 yes i use right analog stick for camera. But if I need to look quickly to my front, I use camera reset.

What's the camera set at, is it Target? Seems to be partially overhead cam. I can't see anything once Velk spams those darned ring and the V frost attacks (whatever they're called), and I mistime the dodge. 😂 Great vid. 👍🏽

It’s not target. I’m not used to target since old gen don’t have those 😅 for the ring, the inner one shatters first. So wait for the inner layer to shatter then go towards it after it shatters. The V frost attack, it has 5 columns(if i’m not mistaken), once you saw velkhana do the flip(dunno if back or side), wait for ice crystals on the floor and just avoid it. 👍

@zeymour93 Alright, I'll bear that in mind. Thank you. 😊 You make it look so easy. While I don't cart in this fight a lot, I can't get a break, seems all I do is dodge and chug a pot. Lol. need to practice more.

I usually don’t kill elder dragon on first hunt 😅 I study their moves until I manage to kill them. You’ll get there I know for sure. Keep up the spirit fiver!

@@zeymour93also that one have another attack when she swipe breathe the ground to make the line so be careful with that
