Olltymer you’re talking about the one where he roars, flies and slam you with spikes? The spikes go in the direction of the arm raised. Look at the run, i’m always on the other side, so it’s safe. There’s 1 slam that tracks you, and this one i dodge sideways.

Tidus69 you just cracked this enigma for me. I had to turn the console back on to try it out and I beat him in 9 mins first try no death. Im a seasoned player, but this just upped my game against nergi like you wouldnt believe. Best advice Ive ever been given. Subbed! Ty!

Hey Tidus sorry for bottering you, but why safi blast instead of kjarr blast bow ? since kjarr has more base damage, affinity, blast damage and has critical status built on it ? Couldnt find the answer on your videos, is it only for the power coating ?

Renzo Irons kjarr blast has less raw, and no power coating. Since blast bows are used for their raw, this is an insane loss of damage. Kjarr blast is a garbage bow and should never be used unfortunately

@@LyonOlivier69 I see, so when you you do awakening full attack damage the safi gets more raw then kjarr im assuming. In this case makes perfect sense to never use kjarr and always use safi. In my case tho i dont have GL upgrades nor safi awakenings yet, so kjarr still has more raw and affinity and even blast damage then safi. My point is if you're noob like me enjoy your kjarr blast until you can use proper gear lol thanks again Tidus you're the man!!

i've been trying this.. wish i hadn't lol, question , i can dodge through the roar when he rises up but then he dive bombs right on me like a homing missile still, how are you knowing where he is going to land and why is he not going straight for you? am i missing something ? clearly the force is strong with you .

DS3PVPFUN he dives in the direction of his arm raised. So just go in the other direction. And it’s always in the same order so inknow in which side i need to be on. There’s only when slam that tracks, it’s the one where he has both arm raised. He does it first in my run

Slasher Soul lightbreak is extremely good. I use it almost alwyas instead of safi. For this run specifically i run safi because of my script and enrage duration. But overall i’d go lightbreak

Oh wow, great run! Btw I have a quick question: why do you use blast coating? How does it affect dps?

It applies a flat blast amount on every arrow (so basically you apply blast faster). At the end, his head is not softened anymore so damage is plummeting so i use blast to help keep some damage up

TheKid it doesn’t make up, but it’s better than using close range on untenderized. So you try to do as much damage as possible before the head is non tenderized and hopefully you can finish off fast with blast

You can roll (or dash) through roars. Just have to have good timing. It works on any monster in the game!
