For those wondering why I'm using Ice weapon, it's because water deactivates his fire mode and makes him go blast mode which is terrible for melee weapons. 水ではなく氷武器を使っているのは、水属性だとテオの炎纏いが解除されて粉塵纏い状態になってしまうからです。

What am i doing wrong with my sets? Do i need to focus on element more since I usually run blast SnS? I’m not good with making builds an I don’t have many good jewels but i can always slot in Attack 7 and Crit Eye 7. On most MR monsters my perfect rush does around 180-200 range each hit and close to 300 on the final hit. But his Perfect Rush is doing almost 300+ every hit and almost 500 for the final hit. Can i get some build recommendations?

Great run! Why did you use an ice SnS when water is supposed to be slightly more effective against Teostra? (25 vs 30 Eelemental HV if i remember correctly)

Teo has different abilities that either focus on fire or blast. The ice element suppresses his blast mode, making him more likely to use his fire attacks, which are easier to deal with and provide better openings. Since the element on the safi weapon is so low, the difference in damage between the Ice and Water version on teo is very small, (since this is a build that focuses on raw damage). The advantages of using Ice outweighs the tiny loss in damage compared to Water. However if someone were to use a build that focuses on dealing elemental damage, it might be worth using water for more dmg.

Perfect Rush relies much more on raw than elemental. Also, using Ice on Teo suppresses his blast mode a bit. Water has the opposite effect where Teo is more inclined to use blast mode over fire mode.

I wish running peak vs Teo was a valid tactic but as someone who loves multiplayer and can't really consistently knock her down it's just impossible, maybe coalesence would be a better option?

I don't even understand why guard slice is even in the game. It's completely worthless damage wise and you can't even combo directly out of it. Why not just make R2 + O be back hop without even having to worry about an analog input?

While water does do slightly more damage against Teostra than ice does, it's still preferable to run ice for Teo. Water attacks will make Teo go into blast mode more often, while ice attacks will make him use fire mode a bit more.

Zen said that there's only a little difference when it comes to damage between ice and water. But water causes Teo to switch to blast mode whereas ice makes him switch to fire mode, the latter is easiest to fight for melee weapons!

MHW should remove Guard Slash. every SnS main hates it. It punished SnS too hard if you fuck up,
