Spacedandy15 That was Y on xbox twice after entering savage axe mode (L trigger during an (S)AED. You can do Y indefinitely and add circles in between that to also go indefinitely

Phials don't crit which means S.Rath skill is useless. It's only viable on a chargeblade if you use savage axe mode majority of the hunt.

@@chronicskaterincipio Same rule applies. Impact or elemental phials discharge don't benefit from true crit element since they don't crit. It works only on savage axe mode since the axe arcs can crit as they go through the monsters. True element acceleration (Namielle set) is what you want to use if you want to increase phial damage of (elemental) chargeblade phial discharges.

@@aerithhyacinth8393 Even if you SAED spam a lot of your damage is coming from attacks that do crit. It's certainly better for savage axe play, but still useful otherwise.

Glav it is really good for only Phial DMG. With 6 fire attack and 2 pieces of Namielle you are set to go. :3

If you want to play Fire PEP, the answer is Glavenus Bardred. Hellsire Blade has 20% higher affinity and higher raw, but Bardred gets 60 more element, or close to 100 more when full augments are considered. That elemental damage doesn't just go to your phials like some people erroneously think. It goes to sword hits, Savage Axe ticks, and more. It's the same reason Kadachi CB is likely a better Thunder PEP CB than Zinogre's. If you're playing PEP, you want that element, especially over flat damage boosts like like raw. The affinity on Hellsire Blade may make it have a place in different styles of builds
