if it's still too hard to solo, try duo run. my 1st assignment completed with duo run. i find 2 players easier. use palico vigorwasp and eat for felyne moxie.

btw just for info if u dont know, alatreon's horn wont break or lose health if he toppled down becuz of dps check even tho its in dragon active mode, it only breakable if he stand up or being flinched shot..

Noob question here, during axe mode, how do you make it discharge the bursts instead of making it go into a the final SAED move and losing all the phials.. @ 2:30 I can only do that move if my shield isn’t charged.

Which ever direction your character is in you want to hold your left joystick back that way combined with the saed button combination

I always had a doubt, how does exactly work weakness exploit?

I used to think the exposed part of the monster is weak, like after severing a tail and the bone is exposed, it's weak, lul. If the damage number color is orange it's a weak part and if monster skin has Ash/Chalk like coating, it's tenderized which will result in damage number in 4 's. More affinity with weakness exploit that means more critical hitting chance and more crit boost. These go hand in hand.

Every monster has parts of it's body that are more susceptible to damage depending on the type of weapon. In Alatreon's case, it's front legs are weakest to slashing damage. So if you had a blades weapon and weakness exploit, you'd have a better affinity when hitting that spot. You can find the weak points in the monster guide.
