Thank you very much for the very important work that you do. Interesting that this discussion came up again this week - next Friday night my band has a booking for a Friday night service where we'll be backing the Cantor on a number of modern, folkie versions of a number of traditional prayers and hymns. I am so very touched that my bandmates, who aren't Jewish, were willing to take on the challenge of singing so much in Hebrew. But I do enjoy singing a good bit of Christmas music too. A beautiful song is a beautiful song, and the energy all goes to the same place. Best wishes!

This was like being transported to the throne room of God and how I imagine the heavily host singing praises to him. I heard your rendition of the Shema for the first time today, it caused me to sob from the very pit of my stomach somehow.
